Maybe on 2007, you can go in depth to the Superstar. Maybe throw in a car, where u can drive to these places, like the barber shop, stadium, etc...Kinda give your player a bankroll. Also, you might wanna add new places to go. Like maybe a club or something where the player is exposed. I like the interviews but hopefully, instead of a screen that asks the questions, how about an actual person talking to you in 3D form, just like an actual interview. I think you can probably keep everything the same, just add more to it. Eventually, you will acutally be in the game and have to be just like an NFL Player. Maybe as you drive around the city, you have a game at 7pm, and you need to be there by 5pm, and its past 5pm, you get some kind of punishment from coach or something. More real-life experiences would make it a whole lot better in my eyes. We dont get to see how and what pros go through. Video games might be the way to show it.
You can also, just export your player to the next seaon and go from there with his stats and accomplishments. Instead of starting from scratch.
I think that might be good if you made it another game like "NFL Superstar" or someting.
But to turn Madden into that wouldnt be so good.

But in a sense the Superstar mode is kind of lacking. Its too simple and needs some more theories behind it if they are going to carry it over to 2007, despite it not being a priority of mine and most people.

When using a created team in the franchise mode the player should be able to choose what city the team is in. If you create a team in another state it still says you're in the city of the team you replaced. If you do move then it's a big financial hit and also bad for team prestige. Also in the franchise mode, the computer teams should keep their star players and the user should have a say in whether a team can move or not. Otherwise after a few years half the star players are on other teams and half the teams have moved and it's just a make up league, not the NFL.
I would really like to see game highlights, just a few different highlights during the game and the ability to watch highlights from other games that are cpu played. perhaps even throw in an award like play of the year, then a replay of that play.
I remember a hockey game way back in the day for nintendo and no it wasn't blades of steel. But it would show game high lights, and even though the graphic were really choppy, it was still pretty sweet.

i think that is a great idea i think they should put that in madden because it makes it more realistic but i think each year you get your salary and that's what you use to buy all the equiptment and the car maybe.
i had an idea though to have more control over your player in the game like maybe a third person view right behind your player. because if your a line man in superstar mode the computer is mostly controling him so you don't have as much control over the player as you whant so if you were to control only your player by yourself you have more of a chance to get good stat's and your player has more of a chance to go to the pro bowl
Extremists are like slinkys... Ultimately useless in the grand scheme of things... But still brings a smile to the face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

to add to that, how about the player also chooses his wife and kids. Maybe he could meet a HOT supermodel, or an actress, or a pop diva, or an olympic figure skater, or a news anchor, etc.
i think the superstar mode was a waste of disc space. they could have you the space to implement half time replays, or a post game show with high lights.
things i want in madden 2007
you definetly need a pre game half time and postgame shows. Also show clips of CPU games during your game so you know what is going on or how another team is doing
Also make the jukes better. When you use a juke you run right into the CPU or when you juke you go 2 yards horizontally instead of forward.
Maybe these have been addressed before, but here are a couple things that I've thought of:
1) you should be able to trade future draft picks. obviously there could be issues with stockpiling 10 first rounders, but surely they can figure something out. anyway, i should be able to trade this years 1st for next years if someone wants to move up in the draft, right?
2) relocations should be realistic! how did the Steelers move to Mexico City after winning the superbowl? Okay, I understand maybe the Jags or Saints or something, but there should be some sort of tool that keeps good teams with history from leaving. Besides, it happens every year in my game and it just pisses me off.
Anyway, that's all I got for right now.

To add to yours i think they should make like a Pardon the interuption or Around the horn to watch every week in your franchise mode. Speaking of franchise mode i finished 30 years and nothing happened. I atleast want a little congratulations. And the punt returns. If you choose a normal punt return play your players do not block no matter what. It's like the made it like that. You have to do like a do a punt block so they are all bunched in just so you can get five or ten yards.
The who Madden system needs to be revamped. I was a devoted madden player until 2K sports cleaned them up with their 2k5 ESPN version.
The first thing they should do is to copy most of 2k's features and playability.
They need to develop an online league format so it is easier to establish and run an online league. 2k had this, it was free of charge, and was a great feature for all the hardcore football fans.
Quit making the players skate through their cuts and create some realistic running animations.
Cut the Madden commentary. I have had Madden's stale old lines for over ten years now and I am quite tired of them. Boom! I said it.
Easier pre-snap adjustments.
Have an option so I can view my record against my friends' gamertags. This shouldn't be too tough.
I could go on but there are too many areas needed for improvement. The most needed improvement would be found by hiring the 2k sports tech team (and no, I'm not one of them!)
