well, Madden had this thing called Madden cards that actually mattered... maybe they should do that instead...

Yeah... now they are... but a few years ago they actually were good... unlocking players... and stuff like that...

They need to just stick to the gameplay and leave all of the gimmick stuff alone. Find something that really has something to do with football like awards presentations, press conferences or something pertaining to the game like halftime highlights.
Madden Cards were cool to use when they first came out...but it's cheating. Never played nfl 2k or whatever had "Cribs"...but that does sound dumb...just watch MTV if you want Cribs, or go see you little bro or sis...LOL!! hahahaha
lol, at first I thought that they allowed you to buya house or something.
Madden cards are pointless though. People use them to cheat sometimes because their there. The cheerleader ones are stupid, so are the coach ones, etc.

I agree with most that is said here, but the one thing I liked about the coach card is... if I'm playing in a big game, and my players are playing like idiots, I'll pull the coach card at half time, kinda like chewing them out before they go back on the field. Helps them get thier heads out of thier rears! Other than that, I don't use any of the cards.
Sometimes it feels like they have played a card on me, like the computer has. Is that possible? Cos I may fumble like 20 times. Or my receiver drop every pass etc.
