madden 06 wishlist
I have been playing Madden since day one and would like to add my input as to changes for Madden 06:
1. Player injuries - players should be carried off in stretcher the field for moderate injuries for example 4+ weeks, helped off by medics or team mates for mild injuries and carted off for major injuries such as 8 week and season ending. Also add some career ending injuries.
2. Improve the tackling and AI for defense.
3. It would add to the fun factor of the game if there was a Pregame detailing the games premiere matchups (which should include created players also) as well as key factors and players to watch. Also a better half time show more along the lines of 2k5 which shows the highlights of the half as well as key players. A post game show that includes interviews as well as highlights.
4. More stat overlays during franchise mode not just during exibition games.
5. More realistic weather( why should you let me know that the city i'm playing in is rainy if no matter what time of year I play in never does?)
6.Better stat tracking - Add half tackles and sacks, QB pressures & hurries, pocket collapses, etc. (Include this also during the games as overlays)
7. QB and other plays should play according to how many times they have been stuffed or hurried, sacked, pressure. It would add more realism to the game.
8. Improve CPU AI - Anyone tired of those 99-0 games?
9.Better create a player - Personality, work ethic & agent should all be part of the create a player. There should be a limit to the rating a created player can start with, that way it leaves room for improvement. Also incorporate their playing style (more finese or smashmouth, agressive or conservative)
10. The off season in franchise mode should be more to real life - free agency before draft, add a combine that allows us to evaluate prospects ability not just those of the lame scouts. The ability to see and scout potenial rookies during the season like NCAA05. The draft selection should also be bigger. The addition of the war room would be nice also.
11. Should be able to trade current year and next year draft picks during off season.
12. Free agency and player signings should be more realistic.
13. Add a GM feature to franchise mode.
14. Hire coaches for positions and add more coaches to hire during off season.
15. Fan support should reflect against team play,like or dislike of coach, team trades and acquistions, prices and luxury of stadium, etc.
16. More replays or animation scequences for penalties (actually see what they're flagging me for), catchs and tackles (big plays, key situation, even for plays that result in injury).
17. If your going to keep the news papers and tony bruno make it more relative to the season and games. The comments in the paper get generic and just plain stupid after awhile.
18. Create an option to add incentives when signing players, team doctors to evaluate players
19. If 3/4 of my stadium is sold out...how am I not making money? Someone should fix that feature.
20. The crowd should be more of a factor in the game especailly if you have the fan support...crowd noise...remember the dog pound?
