i just found out it is mcnabb hers the story april 19,2005- according to the sports business journal, eagles qb donovan mcnabb has signed a deal with electronic arts to be the cover athlete for madden 06. this fits the theme of the title, qb vision and placement into each pass.this is the 3rd year in a row a player has fit into the sceme. read the rest at http://sports.ign.com/605/605949p1.html
Think he will be on the cover of Next Gen too? It would make sense with all those screen shots!
I was hoping of Big Ben, but I can't complain about McNabb. I wonder if TO is upset, especially after his finger pointing about the Bowl loss!
lol if he does get injured there always is Aaron Rodgers
Thank god for him slipping in the draft. If the Pack didn't get a decent QB to replace Favre, I think I would have resorted to drastic measures!
If anyone hadn't seen Nall play in Favre's place last year, he looked pretty good, but he is already what, 25, and subing in during a game you have already lost is a lot different than Starting for a season!
I would have to say any of the following players:Peyton Manning, Willis Mcgahee, Chad Johnson, or Culpepper. I think peyton just did amazing, Mcgahee came back from whta alot thought was carrer ending injury and actually did good, Johnson was just dominate for most of the season , and Culpepper had 4 amazing performances that shocked alot of people. Either way the game is gonna be good.
It should have ben Manning because they changing the way QB's throw in that game. And the best QB for it is Manning. But that's just my opinion.

I didnt see that yesterday. Thats not a bad choice mcnabb is better than TO. Mcnabb is the leader of that team no matter what anyone says.It is his team and I think they did play great. I don't think that he was the best QB of last year which is why they should have went a different route.I dont like the Pats but i will admit Brady disserved it more then Mcnabb. You know wat they saw though the madden curse. WATCH OUT EAGLES.
Wow if the madden curse happens and TO stays out the eagles will be dead, but mccnabb i think was the right choice, wasnt Brady on a different nfl game cover.
I'm pretty sure it was an older version of ESPN or Gameday... but I know what you are talking about. I saw it the other day...

JUST THIS YEAR HE HAD THE BEST SEASON IN HIS CAREER WITH THE MOST PASSING YARDS IN THE NFL WITH ALMOST 5000 YARDS. AND WHAT ABOUT MIKE VICK? YOU DON'T SEE HIM RUSHING 2 YARDS A PLAY. YOU SEE HIM SCORING EVERY TIME HE SAYS HIKE. AT ONE POINT LAST YEAR, TOM BRADY WAS ON THE COVER IN FEBRUARY UNTIL RAY LEWIS'S RATINGS WENT UP. I PERSONALLY THINK THAT THE MADDEN CURSE ISN'T REAL BUT IT WOULD BE THE END OF THE NFL IF IT WAS.
N E WAYS, I THINK LaDAINIAN TOMLINSON SHOULD BE ON THE COVER BECAUSE EVERY YEAR HE GETS BETTER AND BETTER.
Just look at this post and you will understand why I am Banned.

A little basic math here for those who don’t understand percentages. The highest percent you can actually have in the context used above is 100%. So the totals of all three percentages listed above must equal out to 100. Some how I cant get the sum of 91, 86 and 99.9 to work out to 100. Please go back to your desk and work on this one again.

What? You want them to put Favres rear on the cover? Are you sure you really play Madden?

Huh? Talk about out in left field. What conversation are you a part of? I know, Wrong Forum right?

Anyways I wish they had put Peyton Manning on the cover because he beat the long standing record of Marino. Noone ever thought it would be beat but he did it...unfortunately EA decided McNabb was better???? sometimes i wonder..
