1) I like Harty's idera of hot and cold streaks because lets be honest...your not great every game.
2) As I believe Chaos aid...gang tackling...with stuff like half sacks etc.
3) I think they need to add more penalties like late hits...hits out of bounds, and offsetting penalties
4) Easier PPunt returning...maybe I'm just bad at returning
5) 1st round busts and 6th round stars....you know what I mean
6) Choose waht you want to challenge and have more challenges...
7) Dives over the pile...
Thats all I can think of off the top of my head...
1) 5) 1st round busts and 6th round stars....you know what I mean
I think this would be hard to track, unless you know every player that is drafted for every team. I think you could keep track if it were your team. And as far as a 6th round being a star later on in his career, I think you'd have to start that player from his rookie season on and do every training camp you can with him, cause normally I never see a 6th round have an overall above 56, and that's pushing it. I love the idea though, and it happens alot in the real NFL!
you can keep track of 5... its eay.... when you see someone you don't know you check em out and it says when drafted and how acquired and your like wow he was a 5th rounder

1) Practice Squad....
2)Maybe be able to send a guy or 2 over to NFL Europe...idk if it could work...but EA is smart...maybe they can figure it out
3) Institute a system like NBA Live has in which the points can be used to by strength or conditioning coaches etc....

On 05 i've never drafted a guy under a 65, But not everyone needs to be a late round star just like 1 a year. I mean look at Ahman Green and Tom Brady, both were drafted in the 6th and 7th rounds and look at them now.
Hmm...I also think that when a guy returns from an injury and letssay he's a 90 overall...that the first week back he may only be a 80 and he has to work his way back to a 90...what do you all think?
Yea, the punt return is a very good point. I generally just see a wave of opposition and wonder where the **** my blockers went. Also, when people are running so hard at ya, they shouldnt be able to nail you with such perfect tackles, on punt returns there are a huge number of tackles whiffed, MOMENTUM PEOPLE, MOMENTUM! I'd also like to see the wedge being used in kick returns.
i think they shoud put madden cards back into the game where u can unlock historic players.. they used to have it.. but idk wat happened to it..
First of all, welcome to the board. Finally another Broncos fan . I strongly agree with your post...I remember they had it in 03 but it was gone by 04...it was pretty cool.

They sooooorta kiiiiiiiinda have that. Like when a guy is hurt for 4 weeks or whatever...after 3 weeks he's doubtful (and about 12 points off his normal rating)...next week he's questionable( and about 8-10 points off his normal rating)...then probable (5-7 points off)...then fully healthy (normal).
One of the best things that could happen to madden is if a qb could throw high or low, letting receivers get the chance to catch the ball as they do in real life.needing first downs and catching a ball at the first down marker and then having it hit out of his hands because he didn't go down like any normal receiver would.
