really good ideas

Hey everyone,

First of all, I'd like to say that I'm sad if the rumors of EA turning their attention to online play rather than the Franchis/owner mode is true. The franchise mode has made the madden series the best video game released. With that said here is my wish list:

1. MORE EXCITING COMMENTARY! The Madden/Michaels commentary is so boring. NCAA commentary really brings the game to life. If the madden commentary would be more intense it would really make the game more real. It would make it magic.

2. Better Crowd Response! Make the crowd go crazy in big games. Make the volume be loud enough to make the visiting team have trouble concentrating like in real football. And make some stadiums be worse than others, like the dog pound, or the superdome.

3. More over the shoulder catches on bombs!

4. I've noticed that in 2004 within a few years into franchise every team has a super star QB,RB, DB, & others. Everyteam becomes a super bowl contender. I don't know if that's just me or what?

5. Restricted/Unrestricted Free agents of course. Oh yeah, and franchise tags.

6. What about big draft pick busts? I think there should be a few Ryan Leafs out there.

7. Could there be a "Heart" attribute? Maybe a guy who isn't the best athlete could have a lot of heart and play to the fullest every play. And a great athlete with a lot of heart would become a super star. Guys with a lot of heart could also be leaders. I guess attitude could be another attribute too, so you have "dirty" players.

8. Computer initiated trades.

9. Breakthrough Seasons for some players. A player could be just average his first few years and then have a huge season and really become somehting else. Kind of like T.O. or Joe Horn.

10. Free agents should appear out of NFL Europe or the CFL, like Kurt Warner or Jeff Garcia.

I would love to have these ideas considered. I would love madden to be as close to the real NFL as possible especially the off the field part.
