This is what madden 2005 really needs. I can understand how everyone wants all the excess sideline injury shots and halftime interviews , but that probably isnt going to happen. What about gameplay? sure its the best football game around, however recievers are retarted when they are near the sidelines and they rarely stay in bounds. They need more cool sideline/endzone catches.
What I am suprised no one has suggested is a career mode? why not? take a player to the top of the NFL. Hire an agent. Select offseason training etc. I think that would be awesome.
A few other things is improving training camps, O-line drills and drills to improve offensive awareness.
The thing i didnt like about madden 2004 is that you cant turn the salary cap off, and you cant turn cap penalties off. No one really likes that. also created teams should have owner mode
These improvements would perfect gameplay, the other sidebar stuff will come eventually
U can to turn the salary cap off, when u are selecting your team and it says owner mode on, u have to turn owner mode off then u can select salary cap off

I disagree. I have had players with good offensive awareness catch the ball near the sideline and keep two feet in with a cool move.

i think career mode would be really cool, and when you retire you could become a coach or gm. also for training camp you should be able to do drills that increase your stregnth and speed and everything else. good idea
PS2 Madden improvements.
1. The juke move needs to be improved. to fake & unrealistic.
2. Players should not slide like they are ice skating in Hockey.
3. Most cornerbacks make a cut block at the feet of a RB, its never a head on tackle. which results in the player being ran over.
4. Add all the NFL players in the pool for the fantasy draft, NOT just the teams selected. this feature has been taken out of 2004.
5. The dive button and the slide button should NOT be on the same symbol.(config 2.) Very Confusing... Games have been lost because of this.
6. Challenges should have options to what you are challenging for.
7. Please.. more blocking schemes for the Offensive Line & when creating a play, we should also have the option to assign OL on which Defender to block.
8. When creating a play on defense, we should have a option for double teaming multiple WRs, RBs, and/or TE.
9. The A.I. for the cornerbacks to play the flats should be increased. They should be more displined
10. In Goalline situations, the RB should have the ability to jump over the pile, rather then trying to run on the ground.

I like the idea of goal-line leaps is great and yep, the juking is silly, sliding like a cross country skier
I agree with that guy up there, the juke stuff looks so messed up...
