That doesn't happen to me. He's usually only a yard off or dead even when he says how many yards I got.

if anything John Madden needs to work on his commentary. I hate it when he mentions the coaching staff "the thing that impresses me most is the coaching staff"

yeah i agree. the commentry is in need of change. i felt cheesed off because 2003 commentry is practicaly the same as 2004. they should comment more at halftime on how the first half went for both teams- and give highlights from your game and other ones in the league. they should also make more reference of how an individual is doing in the game- and how there season is going.
