Only if you want it too. It's been stated in here, several times actually, that the trades one can do is unrealistic.

Here is a good one too... We often have one of, if not the best, record in the NFL at the trade deadline. You can go and trade your first round draft pick for the worst teams first straight up. We refuse to do that, but you can do it.

you can not only trade them for their 1st straight up, you can generally get a #2 and/or their #3 with it. for some reason you picks are deemed more valuable.

Yep, but I consider that a BUG that needs to be fixed... I like the way free agent signing is now with one exception (it needs to start before the draft) like in real life.

But... if you do free agent signing sometimes you will notice after a few days a play gets released that wasn't before because a team signined someone else... thats cool... But you can sim the rest of the signing which only takes a minute or two...

Yeah I was going to say the same thing about the draft. It sucks when I go and spend a bunch of money on a rookie that sucks because I need him to fill a roster spot and then in the free agent signing there's a better player at the same position.

You can look at free agents b4 the draft.. goto roster.. view roster free agents...

Okay thanks, but even if I do that I can't be sure I'll have enough cap to sign that player or if he'll even want to play on my team. If I could get him signed before the draft then it would be much better.
