Features For Madden 2005, check it out
1) get rid of some tackles that aren't realistic and add some new ones. Like when a RB runs into the heart of the defense the players should pile on him when he is going down. On the double team tackles it should be more like ESPN where one player can hit the ball carrier then another player can come and push them backward or help out if the're having trouble or you could just come over to punish the ball carrier while another was holding him up.
2) add more broken tackle animations. Like the defense slapping at your ankles as you break loose or defensive players grabbing the ball carriers jersey.
3) You've got to add a diving over the pile feature. In ESPN I thought it was qwesome when I dove over someone to get into the end zone.
4) More realistic blocks.
5) More realistic whether effects on the player's performances. I want to see people slipping and falling down in the snow or rain. And arrent passes and more fumbles in bad whether.
6) Fix the defense. There are too many plays breaking loose because of sorry tackling or the safeties not playing deep enough.
Make it easier for us to make tackles. Maybe have the game help direct when we dive.
7) fix the juke because no one throws their arms up and jumps in the air when they juke someone. Do more of a Barry Sanders juke were he changes his direction.
8) Fix the coverage because receivers don't get open against the computer nearly enough. The QB seems to fit the pass in perfectly every time, which gets me to my next problem.
9) Fix the QB's accuracy. I never see passes that sail on a QB or fall in the dirt. That's where the most INT's come from. You should be able to tell you're playing Vick or another unaccurate QB.
10) Realistic tipped pass. When the ball bounces off a receiver or the defense it should go up in the air more so we could have a chance to pick the thing off instead of having it just go straight to the ground just about every time.
11) Good coaches should have a noticable effect on his team like Parcells.
12) Make it where blocking field goals are possible by skill and not by luck. I've only blocked like 2 FGs in the last 2 years of Madden.
13) Have a realistic and strategic special teams. They don't set up for punt returns right, and they definetely don't do the kick returns right. On NCAA they have a good kickoff setup.
14 Have prospects and rooks flop or surprise with their talent. When drafting there should be something like a trainer or someone telling you that the player might be a risk or that he will be a sure thing. Last year when someone drafted in the top ten you knew for sure that all of them were going to be stars. When you drafted a 3rd-5th round you knew that you had, at best, a decent player. And ounce in a while a rookie should have immediate stardom.
---Put what you think down
---Thanks, if I think of more I will let ya know.
