My wish (read & see what you think)

1. player should be able to tap turbo button to accelerate just like ESPN football, this makes better running game.
2. this year should have a lateral button, if EA can make playmaker control after Mike Vick, then they can make lateral after the New Orlean's Saints.
3. when Defenders dive, the game should somehow help the player on the direction toward ball carrier, I miss so many tackle diving.
4. we need more blocking techniques for OL : cut block, down block, reach (hook) block, base block, kick block.
5. create a play, should have a option for OL to assign Defensive player to block, not just block type. We should be able to choose from list of play action animation between QB & RB/WR, this will lead to more create tricks play.
6. players should not slide like they are ice skating like in2004 version.
7. get rid of some old tackle animation, add more of helmelt to helmelt hit like Roy William & Ray Lewis likes to make.
8. I want to have a pink socks for my created team, I MEANT THE WHOLE SOCK, NOT JUST THE TOP PART!
9. the ball if not thrown right, should sometime bounce on WR or DB hands before it drops.
10. the pass get tip & fall into the player hand, not just fall on the ground everytime.
11. challenge should be like ESPN football where you can choose what you are challenging for.
12. more sideline animation of QB discussing the play with coach, QB call time out if he see the Play is not right. CPU only call timeout to stop the clock, that's just plain dumb.
13. animation of referee discussing the penalty.
14. when DB interfered the pass, when WR get up & signal that he was interfered, then the yellow flag should be thrown, not right after when it happen.

feel free to add you suggestion.

1. create Defensive play should let player choose which gap defenders are blitzing to just like real life, instead of just direction.
2. when in goal line, RB should be trying to jump over the pile sometime instead of just diving on the ground.
3. the real life DB usually make a cut block to tackle now days instead of normal tackle like Linemen do.
4. more wining celebration after the game/touchdown.
5. if player come in contact with ref. ref should fall down & have a injury, most of time ref always get in the way.

I don't like your idea of the running game because tapping X is gay for turbo and it makes it harder to break big ones. You can also make socks one whole color, and receivers do drop passes that aren't thrown right sometimes and tipped passes do get caught and intercepted. Referees do fall down but having them get hurt wouldn't be that cool, it'd just slow the game down. Also, helmet to helmet hits are illegal in the NFL. I think the challenging process is fine, but everything that I didn't mention I agree with.

oh yeah, and the spin move, need to be change immediately!
In real life, you don't see ballcarrier just spin when the defenders didn't even touch him. They SPIN OUT AFTER THEY ARE TACKLED!

I've seen Barry Sanders spin like that out of a jam and pick up a bunch of yardage.

Thats what I mean.. I like to sub players by formation but when I make my own playbook it only goes of the the depth chart subbing by formation does not work.

Oh, well that really sucks. I guess that does need to be fixed.

Some run play are not executed like the way it should in real life.
example: Toss Sweep play out of I pro formation
The objective of all SWEEP play is for the HB to sprint extremly fast to run outside of the playside WR & CB, then run along the side line.
Well this year, ESPN football did right with this play. However Madden didn't. Because of the "IDIOT" FB A.I. just lolly-gagging around & just don't lead the block. Everytime I try to execute this play, my HB ALWAYS outrun the FB. This leads to HB have no FB lead block & got tackle behind the Line of scrimmage.

Counter play
the objective of this play is to have playside TE, T, G, C perform a "DOWN" block on the playside LB & DT. THEY SUPPOSE TO LEAVE THE PLAYSIDE DE ALONE! The backside G & T will then pull to the playside & block the playside DE.


Some more major thing that I want to complain about
1. When I play with my friend, I send a Blitz to him which his QB can't avoid. He just tap a random WR button & send the ball up the air. Since I send so much player on the stunt, this leave some WR open & catch the ball. The bad thing about this is my friend don't even know who he threw it to, just trow it up there & lucky catch. It's unfair.
2. For once I would like to see how it fell to play as a blocking fullback! Why does it I can only play as ballcarrier or QB? I want to play OL blocking sometime. This need to be fix.
3. We need better opening game introduction like ESPN football, at least at SuperBowl game should be nice. Like the 2002 version where they introduce the player before the game.
