crowds?
i cant complain too much about madden 2004 its by far the best game ive playes sportswise. and all of these posts have been pretty nice, i just want one more thing and im sure its been said already....
the crowds and sidelines in madden do suck. the crowd is just a big blob and they are weak noise wise and you should be able to tell when they satand up and sit down and do the wave lol. and lastly the more important the game i think moire people should be on the sidelines. like for the superbowl there should be hardly any walking room on the sidelines due to reporters crowding the area and stuff. also the players on the sidelines should be the actual players that would be on the bench at that timewith numbers and looks to match. same goes for coaches there should be numerous coaches on the sidelines as well. guess i had more to say then i thought oh well thanks for listening and gimme sum feedback if u think those things r logical or if theyve already been said haha.

My Steelers were 9-6, playing their last regualr season game at home against the Browns. We needed the win to make the play-offs. In real life, it would have been a huge game. But the crowds were real thin. Hell, the upper deck was almost empty! I wish some how the importance of the game would be reflected in the crowds, much like you said Hollywood...

I totally agree. The sidelines especially need to be improved. At least throw in the Defense Coordinator, Offensive Coordinator, and Special Teams Coordinator! The actual players too would be wonderful.
I love the idea about the wave in the crowd. I can imagine how awesome it would be to line up and look down the field and see the wave going across the fans... so realistic!
The importance of the games should be a factor too. There has to be some kind of calculation for this. Ahhh... if this happened and the video game was a girl named Elisha, I'd propose marriage in a heartbeat!

I'm sorry Hollywood... what I was trying to say is that I love your idea and I really do hope that EA adjusts the environment. I do know, by looking at the screen caps that they have worked over the details quite a bit. From some of the pictures the crown looks more detailistic. I know the sky is definately.
But features such as the wave and immense crowd noise would be so nice. I know for a fact that inside Reliant Stadium when the roof is closed you cannot hear a cannon shot amid the cheers of the crowd at high pitch... the crowd is the 12th Man and it needs to become one in the game!
Can't wait to read more posts Hollywood... I assure you, it is not always like this.
