My Wishlist: Part II

Okay, I posted my first wishlist on the PRESEASON, ROSTERS, and PLAYERS so now I'll post on what I would like EA Sports to do about GAMEPLAY and OWNER'S MODE.

1. First off, we need to fix the whole problem with the computer's pass protection. Everyone knows that the REs do not get any action so they need to adjust this a bit (not as much as they did NCAA cos that was a lot!). They took care of the pancakes this season and I think that should remain the same but they need to make the DEs have a bit more of an ability to get to the QBs.

2. I think the Offense model is fine, but as far as the defense goes... oh boy. The Cornerbacks need to be a crap load better at covering guys every play. I am sick and tired of the Receivers making one play drives with HUGE yardage. As a matter of fact, the whole god-like play that the computer gets into needs to be completely demolished.

3. Sticking to the computer, they need to adjust it a bit and make them actually play the clock. In a REAL football game, clock control is essential to winning.

4. The "throw-the-ball-away" function (at least on the Gamecube) needs to be a one button move instead of a combo of two buttons which makes you pump fake first before throwing it away at all.

5. Being able to do more than one move at a time would be nice, i.e. spin and stiff arm

6. When doing a hot route I think they should have a button you push that brings up a menu and then you can scroll through looking for a different route you would like that player to do. (Example: Say you wanna change WR's Andre Johnson's 12-yrd Curl. You push "B" then the letter of the WR, let's say "A", then a menu pops up with say 5 choices of routes each with their own letter or symbol, and if you want to change the page just hit "R" or "L"... of course these buttons are on the GC)

7. Lastly for GAMEPLAY, I think that the Playmaker control is awesome, but they should add a new feature when passing. Sometimes your Receivers are completely covered and to call them back to you really won't help so I propose that you can use a different direction on the Playmaker control to maybe tell a Blocking HB or FB or TE to stop blocking and run a quick out rooute or something. This'll give you tons more options.

8. In OWNER's MODE they definately need to fix the bugs as far as gaining twice as much money in home games when you save in the middle, exit, and come back.

9. Attendance should pretty much stay even if you are a perrenial winner. If you win two Super Bowls and have perfect seasons and you lose two games the attendance tends to drop a bit... messed up.

10. Choices on foods served

Oh great, there has to be more things to add or fix in Owner's Mode... I can't think of any! My mind is blank! If ya'll think of something else good then feel free to post it. Later guys!

I agree with all of them, and I strongly agree for #4. It's so annoying when you hit that and then your QB pump-fakes and before he can throw it away he gets sacked.
