1. On Madden 08 you costumized your superstar before the pre-season, right? Can you do that on 09? I don't now how so help. My superstar is like overall 75.
2. On the 40 yard dash I get times over 5.5 seconds , so when training camp is over my superstar has a sprintspeed like 65-70 and that sucks.
3. Same with lifting the bar, I can lift it like 4 times. That is not much, huh?
1st off its impossible to get a good 40-yard dash time on superstar mode because the way ea set it. The best you will get is between 4.40 if your super good and 4.80 if your ok at it. I think im just a little over ok because i got 4.20 with a created player and 4.29 with chris johnson.
2nd i dont know how to do the bench press good. Best I have ever gotten was i think 25 and that was with a created player. Any other time i get between 8 and 12. If i get lucky I get 15.

Really? I regularly get 4.1 - 4.0. My speed for my created player is 99. My best bp is 42 with a created player. So it's definitely possible. Just practice.
I've managed a 4.0 once. That was with a WR and he was like 6'11. I only tried it out like that as I heard that it would have a big effect on my overall time, which it did.
I'm usless at it usually though, it really annoys me. Ideally they need a lot more of those types of games to determine the stats, rather than just 3. Maybe if you could choose between a simple and advanced mode when doing the initial drills etc as 3 tests feel a bit vague for my liking. Speed, strength and a game situation-esque drill are not quite enough in my opinion.

The key when you're running is to get "in the zone". Once you get in the zone alternate the keys faster. Make sure that you don't miss any turns, it has to be L, R, L, R, You should try to stay in the zone until you cross the finish line. If you do that, you should get a sub 4.2 time. One thing though is you have to take a player who already has very good speed. A lineman or big hitting LB won't work.
its definatly possible to get lower than 4.4 i was continouisly running mid 5 and watched a few youtube videos and got it down to 4.4 consistantly. unlocked the freak rb class and i ran a 3.91. put your guy to 6'11 and that will make your time drop dont know why but it does.
