The simple fact is that he is a over rated piece of **** that can't cover. He makes bad reads on routes and lacks the ability to recover when he is beaten.
For Madden people the best way to explain it is that he has a very low awareness.
What exactly is the Coach's effect on the team or on the Stats... are you still able to interact with the 'emails' and such on the new gen maddens cause if so I haven't been able to find that yet. I just finished my first season and haven't progressed to the offseason yet...
you don't have a lot of the stuff you had on PS2 and such, basically the Coaches and cordinators help raise ratings on players.
