quick questions-please help!

i have a couple things i cant seem to figure out in madden 09 on ps3. im sure it easy, but i dont know how to do these couple things. please help

i nearly always fumble off punt returns. how do i call a fair catch off a punt and/or how do stop fumbling on the punt return?

sometimes people write me during an online game. how do i read those messages and how can i write back? also, how can i see the most recent players i've played, and how can i message them? and how can i challenge them to rematch?

Press the triangle while the ball is in the air to fair catch a punt..

I don't own a PS3.. but its probably pause game to read messages.. I dunno for sure.. someone else will help you.

As cash said, press triangle to call fair catch on punts/kickoffs.

To write back, press the PS button on the center of your controller, then scroll to received messages and reply.

To see the most recent players you've played, press the PS button again, and scroll all the way tothe right, and there will be an option for players met.. click that, they are the most recent players you have played. From there you can message them and set up a rematch.
