Bug? Punt on Second Down by CPU

Hey guys, just experienced this so I thought I'd see if any of you had as well.

So I'm playing my franchise, and scored a touchdown with about 55 seconds left in the first half. The CPU attempts to march down the field and reach my 36 yard line before throwing an incomplete pass on first down (they had no timeouts left, and it stopped the clock at five seconds).

So 2nd and 10 from the 36, five seconds left ... and the thing in the play select informing me of what personnel to expect them to have out said zero WRs and TEs, and 1 HB. So I figured "oh, field goal" and sent out my punt return hoping I could get a chance to try and return a missed FG. Instead, I find they are punting to me ... why, I have no idea (though the punt just went through the back of the endzone so it was just as good as a kneel down).

Anyone?

ya that happens...u think they kick a field goal but thaat also happen in the last game

Yep.. I've noticed the computer punting when it should be kicking FG's.

It's like they were thinking "special teams" due to being in my end of the field with only five seconds to go and then decided it was too far for their kicker and rather then going back to thinking "offense" (even a run play to run out the clock) they sent out the punter. It's too bad, I was really looking forward to a possible chance to return a missed field goal (for the first time).
