OVERRATED Players
Some of the players in 09 are just ridiculous.


Roy Williams should be much lower, a safety that can't cover? That is about as useful as a prostitute who's a nun.

Also Jesus it's impossible to avoid Roy Williams, Bob Sanders, and Rodney Harrison. They automatically get the tackle NO MATTER WHAT, I think that is a little over the top. It pisses me off especially when I'm about to break one all the way.

Adalius Thomas is just unbelievable. I'm about to break a run all the way with DeAngelo Williams and he comes from across the field to catch up and stop me.(I ran it to the right).


Those are the ones off the top of my head, I'll probably find a lot more as I continue to play.

For me one overrated player is Darren McFadden. Everyone is jumping on his bandwagon and I also think that EA did too. He has yet to play an NFL game, yet for some reason he is impossible to stop. I am not talking about big plays but this guy will slowly eat you up. 5 yards here, a reception here. Basically it also takes about 2 people to bring him down. McFadden is not a big bulky fellow. I feel as if EA kinda over shot it on McFaddens ratings.

On Defense, one over rated player is Nate Clements. He will deflect just about anything thrown to him and he has constantly made me drop about 4 passes as soon as I land per game. He is good, I agree but not GREAT. EA, I feel, has made him great.

McFadden will probably live up to his ratings, don't worry. Just cause we haven't seen him in action doesn't mean he isn't all he's hyped up to be. Plus, the rates are based relatively close to what each player can and cannot do.

Nate Clements is that good of a player, when watching him in a real game, he does only allow one or two passes to the reciever every game, so I think that's an accurate portrait of who he really is.

Roy Williams, I haven't really seen too much on him, so I can't judge on that.

Not just the strong safties you listed but i feel like its almost imposible to break a run all the way, the defensive players just cover up holes that in last years game would be tds.

I think Brian Urlacher is overrated and a very arrogant player/person. I get so sick of the hype surrounding that guy. Nick Barnett is much better in my opinion and that has nothing to do with me being a Packers fan.

Leonard Little is another overrated player. One dimensional and he is able to get away with multiple DUI's (and didn't one of those result in someone being seriously injured?)
