Favre roster update
We all know that ea sports is going to have a roster update with brett favre as the jets starting QB available to download from xbox live soon...But what about those of us without xbox live and want the roster update. Will EA sports release a cd with the update on it? I want the game but don't want to have to subscribe and pay for live just to get a simple update. THANKS. PS Just got back from jets training camp to see Favre practice. there were around 7,000 people there! he's looking good in a jet uniform!

No, there wont be a cd... You don't need a GOLD account to get the rosters.. a Silver account can get roster updates too.

So does this mean if you play Madden on the PS2, you're just outta luck?

Unless Favre is in the free agent pool I figure I'm just gonna have to create him and stick him on the Jets. Not my favorite way to go, but who knew the big goof was going to have second thoughts so soon?

On PS3:

Go to My Madden, Rosters, Player Management. Either go to the Hall of Fame Players or NFL Greats.
Then go to Brett Favre, release him from there and put him on the Jets. (Unless you want to put him on another team, aside the Jets??)

If you're using a PS3, update is practically free, so just use an online update.

If you're a PS2 with no network adapter, I can sell you mine... =)
