on the real, the bears wont be that bad, but they will be a wild card at best. They got a good defense when healthy, but they need a QB, they need Forte to step up, and Kevin Jones must stay healthy.

2. the running back situation is a mess. Now Kevin Jones will tyr and make it better maybe this Forte kid is going to be great.
3. Marty Booker is not better then Muhammed...thinking that makes you sound drunk. so right now your #1 WR you have is devin Hester who has only played that position for a year
4. the secondary is not all that good.
5. o-line thats where it begins and Bears dont have a good one
so in the end the offensive is bad. the front 7 is pretty good. Tommie Harris is a beast but cant do it wiht Briggs or Urlacher

Our defense is SLACKING!! We need it to get back to the superbowl caliber we had 2 years ago! They said it was going to be like that this year..but so far, I havent seen it. AND we need to get our O-LINE fixed..we have good caliber QBs..just need that O-LINE to give them more than half a second to throw the ball
Are you serious when you say you have good caliber QBs? Or do you have a good sense of humour? Cos that was damn funny.

lol...well..let me fix that. we USED to have them..lol..now they are just nothing! lol..its like Lovie keeps them just to have them and not even worry bout it..lol..The way it looks, he expects the Defense and Special Teams to do all the work. and I dont think thats happening this year..lol
To have a guy like Kyle Orton starting and to win a lot of games you need at least 3 things. A great D. A potent running attack. And a good OL. I dont think you can bet on you guys having those 3.
The Bears have surprised in the past, but truthfully, the NFC Championship should be won by Dallas, who look to be leaps and bounds better than teams like the Bears.

yea..im no Dallas fan, but that team is STACKED!! lol..the thing that saved the bears in 2006 and EVERYOE knows this was the D..and we had Thomas Jones instead of Benson..so we didnt have to rely on the pass as much..but hopefully with Forte..we will get our run game back..HOPEFULLY!
And I would say when assessing the squad other than the D, it was better in 2006...As was the D. So any sort of SB run would be a HUGE surprise, and an overachievement.

1. Kyle Orton has look alright during the preseason and honestly i think hes going to have a somewhat productive year. Thats if the offensive line can keep him alive, which I do not think is going to happen. The o-line is so depleated the bears are trying to resign fred miller who they cut this offseason cuz he sucked.
2. Forte and Jones could be pretty good with a good offensive line, but once again it stems back down to how good the line will be.
3. Defensively they will be pretty good like always, but this preseason has left room for concern since the 49ers and Chiefs moved the ball all over the 1st string defense. That could be because they are running basic packages but who knows.
4. They could be pretty crappy and still make playoffs because rest of the north sucks but we will find out this week.

By all accounts though, and from what I have seen, they dont have a very good OL in place. So its all well and good saying if the line does this or that. But all it looks like its going to do right now, is suck.

Well as far as everyone saying that Kyle Orton wont get it done, the last post was on 9-4 and since then Kyle Orton has got it done. And as far as Deving Hester goes, I have to say, he is catching on real fast for as stupid as he is. The Bears might not win the super bowl this year, but if the keep up what they are doing and stop loosing the games in the 4th quarter, I have to say...See ya in the super bowl next year!!!
