May 28, 2008 - The cry of any insolent, instinctive Madden basher is that each year's game is just a roster update, usually with some acronyms we don't understand attached to the beginning or the end. Madden should, of course, feature more than roster updates on a year to year basis, but updating teams with new player ratings is legitimately important and something that adds replayability to the game. There's a reason people are playing NFL 2K5 with a 2008 rosterset.
So then, while EA releases roster updates during the year to try and adjust their ratings for reality, we thought it'd be interesting to take a look back at the ratings EA put out with the first version of Madden 08, and see what players are most likely to receive the biggest increases or decreases in Madden 09.
I'd probably say that Eli Manning, Tony Romo, Reed Doughtry and Adrian Peterson will see the biggest jumps up. I would think Jake Delhomme and Vince Young will see drops on OVR....
Santana Moss
Todd Collins = useless waste of upgraded points
Clinton Portis will probably go up
Hell the entire team probably will
that madden developer bias you know
haha ya I think the Gaints wont even make the playoffs this coming year...
But look at Mario Williams...95...get real....88-90 should be his overall
Roy Williams should be a 86
and Marcus Trufant a 96....get real...91 if not lower...

agree?
Cause 10 TDs and 1 INT make you a bad player???? Yeah, Delhomme got injured, but you can't justify that with how good he was playing before that. I can see a SMALL OA drop, but not a huge one.
God, people talk out of there *** way too much.

Moss will go down a bit,
Collins will go up a few
Portis won't change much at all.

For Madden people the best way to explain it is that he has a very low awareness.
