EA Ring of Champions
I don't know if anyone has heard or talked about this, but EA Sports and Jostens is offering the "Ring of Champions" to Madden players. Apparently, if you reach a certain playing level on Madden, you can buy this Super Bowl style ring, as a representation of your acheavements on Madden.

Is anyone actually going to buy into this?

I think it would be a cool feature to have an extra difficulty level which you could unlock perhaps, but buying a ring? Nah.

Aye, think I read something on that.

Supposedly, you can unlock different looks and 'upgrades' to a ring through your play on the field. I would never order one of these from a personal stand point, as they cost too much money.

The base price is pretty steep, and if you get better quality diamonds on your ring, the asking price is insane.

Not something I'd ever want unless I had a TON of disposable income and was much better at Madden than I actually am. I could see buying the ring if I was like some Madden Challenge champion or something, but I can't imagine another case where I'd buy a seriously downgraded SB-esque ring to champion my video game skills.
