1) If you are playing Superstar mode... uhh... it's by your parents description. If you are playing Franchise, I'm pretty sure you really can't change too much

For Madden people the best way to explain it is that he has a very low awareness.
You can, when your doing attributes for a created player it will tell you what "type" he is.
You can always say what collage the player came from if your creating one...
In Superstar your parents descriptions will tell you what type you'll be most of the time.
"Your dad was a great scat back" Your fast
"Your dad was the Jamal Lewis of his time" Your powerful
"Your dad played running back in high school/for a small collage" Your usually balanced

It would be kind of nice if Madden reverted back to the old style of scouting the upcoming draftees. I hate, absolutely hate the 2007' method. The fact you have to get a gold medal just to see the players scouting report is stupid because some of those drills are insanely difficult. Just my two cents.
