I guess they're trying to make it more family friendly? I just hope they work on game play too.

Not too ground breaking really, though I'd post it anyway.

Go John Madden on this thing! We all knew it was a matter of time until they put this in.

Party Mode? Look interesting... Still not helping gameplay..

That's quite interesting. I personally (if I had a Wii, which I hope to eventually) would be one to use the advanced controls, but the idea it's simple enough for the whole family to play or casual football fans, and easily from the sounds of it, is a pretty inventive idea.

However, this is why I don't think a lot of people take the Wii serious as one of the 'main' platforms for Madden this year. It's pretty much between the 360 and PS3, and even then - it looks like EA will host official tournaments and such using the 360 version.

Nonetheless, very innovative idea - whilst it may not be appealing to big Madden fans like ourselves, it could definitely broaden the spectrum of who plays the game. Such as non-football fans.

That's what I was thinking, I could teach my 5 year old cousin to play with the simple controls. He loves football and attempts to play Madden but always gets killed unless I'm playing him.
