Most of those all seem fair, the only one I really question is Steve Smith.

I mean, he's great, I just don't know if he's 99 OVR worthy. Maybe that's just because I think there are several receivers who are better than him in the League, like Chad Johnson or Torry Holt.

Just my opinion on it. Otherwise, good list.

I am shocked that brady isn't on the list but it doesn't trouble me at all, but what got me is of all the great recievers in the league why steve smith. and do you know where I can find the full team 08 roster ratings at.

I agree with what you guys have been saying, I'm not sure Polamalu's a 99, though I think Reed deserves it (and he's been a 99 for a couple years, hasn't he?), and Smith is definitely not the best receiver in the NFL. He's a 97 or so in my book. Steve Hutchinson and Walter Jones both deserve it as does Urlacher, and well Manning, Champ and LT should of course be 99s.

Brady shouldn't be on the list, a 99 should be the best at their position and Manning is a step above Brady as far as QBing skills. Madden kinda sucks at rating leadership.

In my book; Troy, Urlacher and Smith shouldn't be 99's. Urlacher wasn't what a 99 overall should be, one of the best ever. Madden just rates guys too high.
