Has anybody notice that the imported draft from ncaa is better than the CPU draft, they look more like there selves on madden then they did on ncaa and they also have better rating as some come out to being as high as 89 and some of my 6-7 rounders was even in the high seventies. Like when I drafted DE ADAM CARRIKER #1 round he actaully has his bulk at 6'6" 295, and plays like the real ADAM CARRIKER. but when when I do the fake draft I would draft a DE and he would all wide body at only 6'4" 250 or something. But playing with the real draft is a good strategy as well....just to throw that in for you guys!
Disturbed's team gets many sacks, as like we have been saying, WEIGHT, is not factored into the game...

Yeah Weight has absolutely no factor so their speed is what makes them good there.
I agree speed is a good attribute to have for Linebackers, but for MLB the main att for him is Strength. Ill take a strong MLB over a speedy one anyday, especially against hard running teams. you can always put in your speed on thrid downs and pass coverages but in base you need your strong guys in there.
I don't know of any myself... Doesn't mean that there isn't one. But I don't know any.

Other people must also like Alton's attributes too because he is in high demand in another CPU Vs CPU Sim League I'm in (even though he is only 67 OVR). Here are his stats so far:
2006 Vikings (played 14 games)
97 Tackles
10 Tackles for Loss
1 Forced Fumble
5 Pass Deflections
2007 Saints (through 7 games)
28 Tackles
3 Tackles for Loss
1 Sack
That's not much output from a MLB (besides the tackles). The Vikings GM used a 4-3 base and went with a 4-6 playbook for half of his games. AGGR & Pass % was all over the board. The Saints GM is using him as his #2 MLB in a 3-4 base and the goes 50/50 between the 3-4 & Cover 2 playbooks. Again, AGGR & Pass % is all over the board.
The Vikings finished 6-10.
The Saints are currently 4-3.
Neither team has been able to get a lot of sacks, FFs, INTs, etc out of him despite his nice SPD & STR combo.
But doesnt he have a pathetic Ovr? So isnt that actually quite good?
Anyway, I cant think of many LBs with 87+ strength...

balance balance balance and make sure you can tackle
Here are some of my strategies when drafting a franchise in all Madden mode with salary cap on and the trading deadline on.
Note: I do not think any of the extreme strategies that stack the defense or offence or focus on speed over power or vice versa are good strategies or even any fun. A well-rounded team with a coach who can take advantage of matchups, understands the plays on both sides of the ball and can use all his players, will win and have fun doing it.
1. It is hard to play without a good quarterback. Unless I get a really low first round pick, I draft the best quarter back I can get.
2. It’s tempting to get a really good O-line if you draft a quarter back first round but I agree with some other people here that the O-line players are over-priced and don’t benefit the team as much as some of the other positions that carry those kind of price tags. I think you can get a great O-line using some of your later picks.
3. My second pick is usually a corner because nothing hurts more than getting beat deep and I think having at least one expensive corner can be well worth it, depending on his stats. Speed is very important at this position and a top corner must be fast, but you can’t just focus on speed, he has to have awareness and be able to tackle.
4. Not only does getting beat long hurt, but getting run on consistently hurts a lot too! I like to get some good line backers early. AJ Hawk and Patrick Willis are always on the top of my list.
5. I’ll usually start looking for one really good wide receiver next to help balance out the team. I love speed here but I really look at his catching ability. One of the most annoying things is when a guy gets open and then drops the ball.
6. Soon, I’ll start thinking about finding a highly rated free safety with speed to catch anyone who might break free into the secondary like Michael Huff and it’s always nice to have a hard hitting strong safety like Atari Bigby.
7. I think you can find some good running backs late. I value strength, ability to break tackles and most of all ability to hold onto the ball, but speed is always a value you need to factor into your decision.
8. My next picks depend on who is available for what cost and making sure I have a balanced team. I try to make sure I’m not putting too much faith in any one player and his backup does not suck because anyone can get hurt and be out for a while.
