What about having off field troubled players that you are force to suspend and or having T.O type guys that are distracting your teams gameplay, make the free agency a bigger deal , let's be able to have an actual scouting combine and highlights of players that are soon to be drafting., Full team training camps and workouts and actual interviews with players your showing interest in signing to see if they fit your team. Basically a real life like front office. EA should just throw in NFL Headcoach for the off-seasons of madden
Yeah, Id like a more in depth offseason too..Tho they seem to be taking steps every year in that direction.
When we get highlights from guys college careers, that will be the pinnacle for me. Or better yet, if during the season you could send out some scouts to really gather info on the players they think will help the team, then in the off season, you can watch the film...
Perhaps even conduct the interviews yourself, rather than just being told they were "good" or "average". Be able to see the combine rather than just being told the results..Hearing the crowds reaction to certain players.
In FA being able to tell a guy what his role will be, rather than him assuming based on players at the position...Being able to tell a guy the plans for the year and beyond so he sees the abition...
All stuff like this, Id love to see added. But I think we have to patient on this thing. They are going about it slowly, adding new features to it every year...And it might be a while/if ever at all, where they focus one year on JUST the offseason..As they would say the year of the WR or whatever..

I think that would be great if they would do a lot of that stuff. Great list man.
My main is the scouting for draftees and I think all that stuff you said would be great, as well as the main one I want. Collage Stats.

isn't there a setting of Team Morale? If it;s low, then why would you sign TO?
How about the game before the draft? Does that count as the combine..and don't you get comments after that? Been so long since I played Madden and I never played the Draft game..nor put them through the work outs....which is the option before you play the game..which is before you draft them....LOL!!
So how about better USER situational Awareness, before one complains about the offseason!
ManofMen...They do still have them...You just have to earn them by running the drills (which is a pretty cool feature, because you also get a feel for them).

I dunno, the off season mode is way too long on Current Gen...
Waiting for the new roles for each player... god that took forever.

For Madden people the best way to explain it is that he has a very low awareness.
But he isnt talking about length of it, but depth. And Id agree with him, I enjoy the offseason just as much as the season, sometimes more, due to the fact its where you build your team etc. And as such, I think the offseason should be deeper, to accomodate those who want more from it..
...For those who dont, there should be an option to skip parts...

Off season is a time to rebuild and how can you do that by just looking at there stats if you could watch film on them and the other thing that really matter in building a team
Thats a good idea halftime shows build ups post and pre game shows. Locker room fights. In the franchise mode if u could choose what type player to be.
I have a major gripe. Speed! I'm one of the people that buys ncaa and then madden and I export the draft classes. Why does madden cut so much speed off the incoming players? I'm a big football fan and I've heard all nfl players making the transition from college to the pros that the speed of the game is different but that doesn't meen that the individual players speed is changed.
