I want them to change the rating system to where only the elite (say top 3 at each position) would be above 90.

I want speed to be less dominating. Speed should be game changing, but not totally dominating.

If you play the game right, speed isn't that much of a factor. I mean come on, run a zone defense to counter the speed on offence, and run power I and playaction on offense. It's all about how your team is set up. As for changing the rating system, that would be bad. You can't just keep everyone under 90 just because they're not in the top 3.

I think the rating system needs to be tweaked, but if the MAdden system is changed so the top 3 at a position are 90+ then you have NBA Live ratings and they are horrible...

First off.. the rating system is being tweaked.

But... it wont be just 3 guys in the 90's.. that would be silly IMO..

Hopefully the new ratings system works out though.

When are they putting in gang tackling? I hate hitting a guy and my guys stand there looking and if he breaks the tackle he gets extra yards. Wouldnt have gained a thing if a second or thrid guy came in and crunched him.

Gang Tackling is suppose to be on Next-Gen systems for Madden 08. Cash posted a video from the producers blog.

I dunno if the current Gen has the power for the true gang tackling they are putting in the game. Hopefully... For those of you still playing CG it does.

As far as the ratings I'm not sure which systems are getting the overhaul.. heck it might JUST be CG that is getting it and not NG.. This whole CG/NG stuff sucks.. they need to just move EVERYthing that is in CG to NG and stop making the CG versions.

I agree completley. Its a hassile when they do some awsome features for CG only and then some really awsome features on NG only. It makes thing difficult.

Hopefully by 09 they go full NG only.

yea the under 40 comebacks is cool....also the ability to try to talk out of retirements would be cool. In 07 Brett Favre would always retire. It would be cool to keep him for 08, since he really is playing.

NFL 2k5 had the talk out of retirement feature, and it was pretty cool. I think it'd be a nice add to franchise.

ha, yeah I loved the features of NFL 2K5....also the program where you could put guys through weight gain/loss programs and stuff. That was awsome. I like my DT's big as hell.
