How to remove Cap Penalties
Guys, READ THIS ALL THE WAY THROUGH BEFORE DOING ANYTHING!!!!
I've found a way to get the cpu to remove the cap penalties!!!! It's time consuming, but here it is. Works on PS3 and Xbox360!!!! All you have to do is release 2/3 of the team. Make sure you release the ones with the highest bonus money. Then go and try to play a game. The game will say you have excessive cap penalties and it needs to waive the penalties so you can continue. Select yes or okay, and your cap penalties are released!! Then got back and sign the people you released.
If you want to get your QB or you favorite person you built up to 99 back on you team after you released him because of cap space, it's gonna cost you. I suggest before you release him, change him to a kicker or punter. His overall will drop to 12, but it will not effect his natural stats. Then release him and sign him to a 7 year deal. The game will automatically give him the minimum, which is like 340K a year(very cheap!!!). Last, when you get him on your roster, change him back to QB or whatever position he was in the beginning and he'll go back to 99.
