Anyone know how to get to the level 5 ring faster than playing game after game of 1 on 1???
Also does anyone know how the point system works
Ex. scoring more touchdowns, sacking the QB, converting on 3rd down do these get you more points towards ring level 5???
Yes there is a way to get to level 5 faster. I was on level 3 once an my whole profile got deleted. I wasn't happy to say the least. But then I was informed by a friend that all you have to do is use Franchise Mode. Here's the steps:
1. Save everything you currently have.
2. Start a New Franchise and select every team as your user team.
3. Start the Franchise, and before you do anything, save it. (by doing this, you can reload the Franchise rather than going thru all the offseason stuff later.)
4. Simulate the whole season, start to finish, including the Pro Bowl.
5. After it's done, exit the Franchise.
6. You will notice that your Madden Gamer Level is now higher than it was before-hand, possibly by 2/5 of a level if you started at Level 1 or 2.
7. Load that Franchise again and simulate again.
8. Repeat until you achieve the desired ring.
The point of this is that you get points in Franchise Mode for leading every category of stats, both offensive and defensive.
*It took me 30 mins to 1 hr to get from Level 1 to the end of Level 5.
My question to anyone reading is: Do you know how to achieve that big floating ring above the showcase? I have 2 epic rings, Level 3 and Level 4 and I thought it would give me a piece of the big one as I achieve those, but it didn't. Does anyone know what to do to get the big ring? Thanks
Just one more thing not on the Wii version.. Or is it? Sorry for another stupid question but how do you do this and what exactly is this? BTW, I'd create one but not buy one if it is on the Wii.

You get 5 levels of rings, the better you do the more points you get... Eventually you get to move up a level when you complete a ring. Kind of like a gamer level. I dont know anything buying rings though...

Just like playing a game, say an interception gets you X points. A touchdown would get you Y, and when you get a certain amount you get a piece of the ring (such as the logo or the side). Then after you complete the ring you go to the next level and this repeats until you get 5. I dont know much beyond 2 as thats where i am.
Honestly, if you are good at Madden, let your online record show it. You don't need to pay for a ring. EA is just trying to make more money.
Some people like rings...bling if you will. Perhaps they see sentimental value in their achievements (like those who buy class/school rings when they graduate).

I was on my third ring online, getting ready to complete it, when my profile got accidently deleted, thus leading me to have to start all over from the very first ring. It wasn't upsetting or anything, but the fact that I had to reset all my profile up was. But the ring doesn't mean anything to me, just another feature they included that I won't buy.
