I have been playing Madden and NCAA since day one. Because of limited time and attention span, one of my favorite features has always been the ability to save a game in progress. Well on both the 360 and PS3 they took the "save a game" feature away.
I think the new NCAA-08 is the best version I have ever played and it allows for a "fast sim" through to quarters or end o the game....this atleast avoids losing an entire game if you have to quit, leave etc.
However, I really want to know, WHY did they take the feature away in Madden, why did it never exist in NCAA?
According to one post, it would seem that "fast sim" or something similar exists for Madden. But does anyone know the fact of the matter?
It all started one crazy weekend when our girlfriend said, "trust me, rub this on it and it won't taste so bitter." We woke up 14 hours later in a South American jungle wearing a stewardess uniform and some ceremonial wedding beads.
Yo Cashpath, please do something about Neemee... whatever his name is!
We don't need people like that up here.

Anyhow, to answer your question wallyworldr, I think we as Madden players should take more initiative and post on their blogs about these issues.

So am I the only player bugged by the game saving feature? Heck I am 55 years old....and this Madden feature was always(more or less) untill the latest versions,,,,,and never in NCAA.....
I always was glad Madden had the save feature in it so I could get a quick quarter or half in before I would have to leave for work. Save the game and then get home 8 hours later and Presto! finish my game. Very very good feature to have that is for sure.

I was also a fan of the save game feature, In the event that I couldnt finish a complete game, I could always save it as opposed to starting it over. It was a nice thing to have despite the fact that I didnt use it too often, especially when it was a really close game or something that I really wanted to finish.
