This first preseason game was definitely disappointing especially in the first half with my starters in. I expected there to be more production From Leftwich and Jones-Drew and my defense missed some opportunities for some big plays…

The offensive line in front of wasn’t there and didn’t provide the opportunities for Leftwich and Jones-Drew… The receivers I am pretty happy with their performance with 1 dropped pass between them…

The defense needs to work on stopping the run and concentrate on wrapping their guys up to make key tackles… They need to rush the passer and my cover guys need to work on covering…

All that said I made a few mistakes in coaching and as I learn more that will be rectified… Look for some big adjustments and an exciting game next week against Carolina…
