Hot Potato: Tigam
First of all I would like to thank Tigam for taking the time to do this. It probably could have been much better but I didn't want to hold up the Hot Potato. With my computer being down, I PM'd him the questions and he was kind enough to answer them for me.
It came down to Tigam and Cash as to who I wanted to interview, but I recall Cash said not to ask him before the season got started.
Disturbed: How many hours a week would you say you put into helping with the SIM League?
Tigam: Depends... On what needs done and what I can do. I do alot of grunt work for Cash otherwise... There for a while I was doing a an hour or two a day after work.
Disturbed: What do you enjoy most about the SIM league?
Tigam: Watching my games... Knowing that I have no control over whats happening after it's started, but ultimately I'm still responsible for. I feel like a coach!
Disturbed: What made you decide to take over the Chargers?
Tigam: Well... I was not here for the start of the first league. Cowboys were obviously taken.
But can you believe that Cash had to actually had to talk me into a team? I don't know what I was thinking.
Disturbed: You made a few moves this offseason, which do you feel will impact your team the most?
Tigam: Oh the Turner trade. No question. It was the base of every trade made after it, AND now I'm going to have to play against him twice a year. Impact? I just hope I don't regret it.
Disturbed: What do you feel is the strength of this team, the offense or the defense?
Tigam: Offense. I think my offense is going to be good enough this year to make my Defense look like it's better than it really is.
Disturbed: Looking over your team they appear to be set for several good seasons, do you share that opinion?
Tigam: I'm trying to look three years ahead, and I feel pretty good about where I am... But injuries tend to break plans, and make new ones. Lets say I'm nervous, and will stay that way until we are at the big game.
Disturbed: How do you feel your team stacks up against the rest of the AFC West?
Tigam: I think we are going to compete with all of them. Always a tough division. Good news is I don't have to try to out coach das wonderkid Holyjabroni. Of course the bad news is I don't every have to out coach das wonderkid Holyjaborni.
Disturbed: What team other than your own do you feel has the best chance of representing the AFC and the NFC in the SuperBowl?
Tigam: Oh Cowboys in the NFC. No question. Good solid owner, good solid team. No real weaknesses to speak of. Altho I think the Redskins and the Eagles are going to give them a run for their money.
AFC I'd have to go ... Hmm... Colts. I just don't see Manning not breaking records.
Disturbed: Final Question. I bet that makes you happy. If you were the commish of the NFL what penalties would you have put on the Patriots and thier coaching staff for cheating?
Tigam: I would add to the current punishment what other coaches have received in punishment for NOT helping their team win. They just used a substance that enhance their strength and what not. So? It's not like they are playing. The insanity of the double standard is flabbergasting.

Turner is gonna be the HB of the year, but this was a good read. You kept majority of it with sim league, but I liked the edition of real life football with the Pats question.

Hah, good read. I too liked the addition of some non-sim league related questions as apart of the interview, added a diffferent feel to it.
I thought the trade with Turner was pretty interesting too, as Turner completely destroyed my team during our first pre-season game, hah. Should be interesting to see how he stacks up against your defense during the year.
