Hot Potato: TheBillster

As I sorted through my contact list, I knew I had to deliver a big name as well as an interesting read in order to live up to the already widely popular Hot Potato. Then a light went on, literally. My cell phone was glowing with an array of colors while the theme song from Pirates of the Caribbean erupted from the device. In that split moment I knew exactly who I HAD to interview for the latest installment of Hot Potato.

Nish4x: I am here with the proud owner of the Buffalo Bills, TheBillster. Thanks for taking the time out of your schedule to be on The Hot Potato.

TheBillster: No problem. If the sports world wants to meet with me I have of course the time, your welcome.

Nish4x: Lets start with the offense. What is the organization expecting from a completely rebuilt offense led by JP Losman?

TheBillster: Our Offense, yeah... We wanted an Offense that is no Offense to the peoples eyes watching our games... (laughs). But for real, we needed some changes for the Offense. We needed more veteran play for the WR spot and signed WR Koren Robinson for a lot of money. He should be a very reliable No.2 WR next to our star Lee Evans. Our WR group is good enough to make the job of Losman easier and the job of our new RB Tatum Bell.

We expect solid production passing and running of our Offense, in some games Losman might struggle a bit but I think this unit is good enough to win us some games.

Nish4x: Tell me about the decision to acquire Jamal Lewis, only to move him to fullback? Do you think Jamal and Tatum will work well together in the backfield, considering neither is a very good receiver?

TheBillster: (laughs again) Jamal at FB, that is funny, isnt it? As we traded for him and met with him we told him that he will be our FB. He looked at us as if we were Aliens or crazy or crazy Aliens and I thought he will now run away screaming, but then after we explained how we wanted to use him in our Offense he was okay with his new role. He is a true professional. He has the speed and size to be a bruising blocker for RB Tatum Bell who has blazing speed. And in my eyes I wont make much sense to say to a slow FB 'hey you, you need to lead block for Tatum'... Tatum Bell needs a fast and strong FB, and Jamal is fast and strong and will serve us nicely in his new positions years to come I am sure. And I dont think that our RBs will get a lot of throws into their direction. We see their position name not a joke, they are RUNNING backs and not RECEIVING backs.

For the passing game we put together a formidable WR unit which will be dominant in this league.

Nish4x: Pretty confident considering Roscoe Parrish is your number 3 (chuckles).

TheBillster: Pretty confident you say? My old Chemistry teacher always told me 'my boy, confidence is the key to success and the half way to the win already'.

But back to your question, at WR Roscoe Parrish will be our No.3 option and he is a good option with his speed and hands.

But my favorite player right now is our rookie TE Quinn Sypniewski... Man, 6-6 tall and 270 pounds and nice speed for a TE, he will rock the league and will definitely the No.3 throwing option for Losman. I liked very much what I saw from him in the training camp sessions.

Nish4x: Well clearly you decided to build your team around speed. Give us your most important acquisition on each side of the ball and what the Bills expect from those players.

TheBillster: I think in this fast game speed and the play recognition on both sides of the ball is the most important thing.

On the Offense our most important acquisition is Tatum Bell, then WR Robinson. But Tatum gives this team more. He gives this team the options of fast in and outside runs which we did not have with Willis McGahee. Tatum Bell will take a lot of pressure of J.P. Losman and win some games for us all by himself.

On the Defense the biggest addition is DT Kris Jenkins, and when I mean big I mean big... He is a 335 pounds DT who is a brutal force in the middle with his strength. He is a slasher and will make the job of all other players in the defense easier.

Nish4x: Clearly Kris Jenkins and DJ Williams were huge additions to your defense. How do these two studs impact your record this season?

TheBillster: Well I think these two players are difference-makers. To have them gives us the good feeling of having absolutely elite players. DT Jenkins is mean, he is almost impossible to stop in by only 1 OL player and will ned a lot of double-teaming which opens plays for our other players in the DL and LB group on the field. And DJ Williams is already near to elite and I am very sure by end of this year he will be among the leagues top 10 LBs. Both players are total packages at their positions and will make our Defense hard to play against. Players like them always have influence on your teams performances and on the record. But it is really to early to predict how they could lift us and how we look at the end of the season.

Nish4x: Here is the scenario... Its the final game of the season, the division championship is on the line, its the 4th quarter, the Bills are down 4 with three seconds left, the ball is spotted on the opposition's 25 yard line. Give us the play by play.

TheBillster: Hmm, interesting... Ok, first of all it rains cats and dogs.... Losman looks around, he sees 4 WR and the TE. But before the Offense starts the snap he has a little prayer... Then the play will be called and Losman has the ball and waits 1.5 seconds , then does so as if he passes to the right to WR Lee Evans who is in triple coverage... but Losmans intended target is running from right over the middle and then left and is TE Sypniewski who make the grab for Losmans pass at the opposing 6 yards line and then marches in with raised arms and a brutal 'YEAHHHHAAA'.

Nish4x: Well Billster, it was a pleasure speaking with you. Any last comments you would like to send out to our readers?

TheBillster: Life is a party. But dont do drugs!!! Take care folks.

Nish4x: Thanks, and good luck on the season.

TheBillster: Thank you very much, Nish. I can feel it, this will be a great time in a great league.

Interview whoever you'd like, but just make sure it's someone who will keep it going and not kill it.

Lol, I am glad that you liked this Interview. It was fun for me, thanks to Nish again for the great questions. As I typed my answers into AIM I made some writing mistakes, but most of them make the things even look more funny...

I will work on my own Interview but cant tell right now how and when I will do it. Might need some days for it, maybe even this weekend. Sorry for the delay...
