Pre Season Presser

Welcome all to the Preseason Opening press conference for the 07 season. Some of you may know me from my previous work with Browns or Bengals. In case you do not my name Esi Morp and I think we have built quite a unique team here in Atlanta.

Coming in I felt this team had a great foundation but did have a few Glaring holes. I think we have addressed the biggest and that was getting in a big time wideout for Micheal to throw to. We landed one of the premier young receivers in the game to add to our list of game breakers on the offensive side of the ball. We also sured up our line on both sides of the ball. probably our next biggest acquisition was that of Casey Hampton. While Grady did a great job for us Casey will only make our good defense that much better vs the run and vs the pass.

While we are depending on several young guys to perform we wouldn't start them if we didnt feel they could handle it. I think we have put together a top tier Defense and a very dangerous offense centered around the playmaking ability of Mike. That we hope will spell Championship. Or in some circles a houshumadilla....

Mr. Morp, it appears you have a very balanced team geared up for a playoff or even championship run. However, one question that comes to mind for many following the Falcons is whether or not Michael Vick has the pure throwing ability to lead this team to the promised land. How will your offensive plans for the season accommodate Vick's unique skill set?

Do you think with the guys you have managed to pick up, your Dline is the best in the league? And as such, how do you rate your chances of taking the division title over your widely agreed upon competitor, the New Orleans Saints?

Excellent Question

I feel we have given Mike the tools to move the ball in any given situation. Given his unique skills teams will have to choose their poison. If given the opportunity I think you will see that he can pass effectively from the pocket.

I feel we do have an excellent line that will anchor our defense. Best in the league Of course I think so but I'm a little biased so the only was we'll really find out is on the field. In the end thats all that matters.

I think with High risk come high rewards. Lets hope we come out more on the reward side than the risk side ;-)
