*Head Coach Andy Reid sits down at the podium, with his two newest acquisitions, with a great big smile on his face.*
"As you can see, with the two new faces sitting next to me.. We've come to an agreement on a trade with the St. Louis Rams that have landed Torry Hotl and Jerametrius Butler here in Philadelphia. Unfortunately, we had to part with a great talent in Mike Patterson as well as Donte Stallworth and Domonique Foxworth. As much as we liked that nucleus, we needed that big time receiver that will put us over the top, and in Torry we get that.
We hope that Patterson, Stallworth, and Foxworth all have great careers, but we are very, very happy to have these two guys here in Philly.
If you have any questions for I or Torry or Jerametrius, feel free to ask them."
Torry, do you feel the trade was more in part your future in St. Louis was going to end soon anyways, or you were looking for a way out of St. Louis?

For Madden people the best way to explain it is that he has a very low awareness.

"I think it was a little bit of both to be honest. Ya know, the GM over there, RamsFan, he's looking to start young with this team and build from the bottom to the top. I'm getting up there in age and I want a chance at another ring. I've served my time in St. Louis, and I love the city and fans, but I think they respected my needs and did both myself and the organization a favor by trading me here to Philadelphia.
But hey, now I'm all business. All Philadelphia, nothing else. Going to get this team that Super Bowl they've long awaited for."
Torry, even though you had a chance to play with a great QB in Marc Bulger with the Rams, how do you think it'll feel to play with a Pro-Bowl Caliber quarterback like Donovan McNabb?
Do think there will be any major differences between the two?
Andy, with the trade of Mike Patterson will you be specifically looking to draft or sign a free agent defensive tackle, or are you happy with what you currently have at the position for the next couple of years.

Oh, it'll be great. Without a doubt. Marc is an awesome quarterback in this league, don't get me wrong, but Donovan is in the upper tier. Donovan and I have actually worked out during the offseason a couple years ago together, he's a great guy.
As for the differences, I think Donovan will be able to make a lot more things happen. He can scramble away from oncoming blitzers, and really do things with his legs, to get out of the pocket and find me wide open down the field. It's something I'll look forward to.

Well, I'll say this. We think Brodrick Bunkley is going to be an awesome, one of the best, DT's in the league in a couple of years. Darwin is going to be a good 2nd DT for us for this year, maybe even next, but DT is something we will address at some point either this year or next year via Free Agency or the Draft.
Andy, with this trade how more vulnerable do you feel at DT, and how much do you feel you sured up the position at WR?
Obviously it hurts to lose a future superstar in the likes of Mike Patterson. But, all offseason long, we've been searching for that big time, playmaking, top notch wide receiver, and with Torry we get that. I feel that our wide receiver corpse are one of the best in the league now with Torry, as opposed to being a middle of the pack without him.
If Darwin or Brodrick Bunkley go down to injury then we'll look to Marcus Bell to step up and be a pivotal role in this teams' success.
<Chuckles> Aren't there any questions for Jerametrius over here? <Chuckles Again>
Last time your team had a top tier receiver on it you went to the superbowl. Is that what you were looking for in seaking out this trade?
I think that that is every teams goal at the start of every year, to reach that Super Bowl. I think the organization did have a little doubt as to this team being able to reach that goal with the set up at WR we had, and with the acquisition of Torry, I think we erased that doubt.

I just want to play football. I'm thankful to be on a team that has a legitamit shot at going to play for the Super Bowl, I'm thankful to be playing for Coach Reid, I'm thankful to have an awesome core of cornerbacks to learn from around me, and I'm looking forward to spending the next four years in my remaining contract here in Philly.
