General Information:
There are very few rules here, and there will never be many. Finding a topic that isn't allowed will take one exceptionally keen mind. Religion, Politics, and Sexuality are all allowed, and any opinion is welcome.
Problem with Christians/Muslims?
Problem with Republicans/Democrats, or perhaps France/USA?
Problem with Homosexuals/Heterosexuals?
All of these are not a problem. If you have a opinion, and choose to voice it here... You might just have to take some heat for it. While a polite conversation is appreciated, in heated debates it doesn't always work out that way. If you are pretty thin skinned this forum is likely not for you. Keep in mind that all bans and warnings that you may receive will *only* be for this forum. A ban here in this board instance will not effect your posting privileges anywhere else on MaddenBoard unless you break the ToS on another board instance.
However, that does not mean that there are no rules. While they are few, they will be followed, or posting rights could be subjected to a disciplinary action.
You'll notice that we do have posters at MaddenBoard that are not from the USA. They just might not have a favorable opinion to what the majority of the board may or may not hold. Opinions will vary, and all opinions are welcome. Keep that in mind before filling up a mods PM box.
ToS:
A) Posting pornography, or linking to it on these forums, could and likely will result in a ban.
B) Racist or discriminatory remarks are not allowed, and this includes sexually orientated remarks.
C) Not responding or ignoring a moderator could lead to a ban of these forums.
***Currently there is exactly one Mod/Admin. Tigam. This may or may not change in the future***
D) What happens in The Cave should stay in The Cave. The ToS for the rest of Madden board has remained the same. Breaking it on another board instance by referring to something here could lead to a revoke of posting privileges.
E) Spamming the boards. Will be completely up to the forum Admin. It is strongly suggested that posters take a active role in more than one topic over a extended period of time. If nine out of ten threads started are "USA Sucks" or "homosexuality is a sin" by a single poster, this can be seen as spam.
F) Post like you are a mature adult with a brain. If this is not clear enough or you question this, please don't post here it'll save my time and yours.
G) Posts that belong in another forum instance will be moved to that forum instance and subject to that forums ToS. This includes any subject about the Sim-League, Madden, or any sports game where the subject isn't directly related to Sexuality, Religion, Race, or Politics.
With all of that said... As the only Mod I make this promise to those who choose to post here. There will never be a perma ban for a opinion. Pornography and blatant advertising spam is the only way to get perma banned from this forum. I will not punish or warrant any kind of warning for a valid point of view. From the birth of the forum to
7/13/07 every point of view that has been posted is valid to get a nice reference.
I don't agree with all of them, of that you can be sure. But they were brought with thought and reasoning. That's all you need here.
