Don't know if you read the whole thing or not. I didn't get to the end either but the user Animalmother over there seems to have some good ideas and seems he is not being listened too.

One way you fail one way YOU RAKE MONEY...they can try to "Keep it realistic" and retire players but what they are actualy doing is destoying there own game over time...sucks but its true.

From what I gather in a few minutes of reading the biggest problem with GLB is they kill your player off! WTF. I wouldn't even sign up for an MMORPG if I knew that was going to happen, let alone dump money into it.

Seems people spend upwards of $70 a month to build their players and then when the season is over they have to start over from scratch. I would have never had my addiction problem with UO years ago if they would have done that to me. I would have been easy to quit, what kept me so addicted was trying to build up and reach the level of other better players.

Seems to me that's the biggest ticket to making a better GLB. Let people build players over a carrier, not a season.

I found the post below pretty funny for all those over there talking about us over here not knowing anything, seems a few of them over there no nothing about football, apparently this guy doesn't know the AVERAGE carrier length of a HB in the NFL....

Maybe they are considering going that way, I dont know, just sounds to me like this guy was arguing against it. If its not the case why argue it?

I have to agree with his points though, if you want to keep people "hooked" on the crack then dont take it away from them. Dont wipe players out. I dont know that the answer is to have players who play 50 seasons, that would be silly. But the conditioning idea sounds pretty good to me, make people pay to keep up thier carriers. Maybe give bonuses to people who retire at certain levels toward creating new rookies which also gives an incentive to pay to boost players.

Just regurgitating interesting ideas I saw, this is an MMORPG so I dont plan on getting to into it. Gotta stay away from the crack.... lol
