rating a thread?

what does it mean by rating a thread i suppose if its a gay thread u give it a bad rating and if its good u give it a good rating so i guess my question is what is the point of rating the thread? does it do anything or is it just worthless sumthing to waste more time with

ah i think only mods can do that. whenever i sticky a post it gives it a good rating though. i think higher ratings make the post up at the top first. can you put a rating in?

It is just to let people know if threads are good or not and anyone can rate a thread..

I don't. I think it's just a waste of time. No one really reads the ratings.

theres a little ballon next to the name.......thats where the rating is located i think. not sure what the balloons mean...

I you open a thread and look up at the top left you will see thread rating click on it and you can rate it
