Arcade limit
I like the fact that you have to have a certain amount of posts prior to being able to participate in the arcade games, but 50? Seems a bit high, seems like it would encourage spam posts.

...or just encourage people to stick around.

Same with the league, it requires 2,000 points (which is basically 1000 posts or a combo of posts/threads created).

Either you stick around long enough to get benefits or you leave is how it usually works.

As of right now... You have 43 points... Off of ten posts.

Like the Sim League, the arcade is here for the board... Not the other way around. We'll happily take action against people for spamming.

50 Posts to play in the Arcade (not points)

And the reason it is 50 is to discourage spamming.. See if it was 10 or 15 then someone who wanted to play the Arcade could just come on at night and spam 10-15 posts then go play the Arcade.

At 50.. if someone sticks around and is constructive for a week.. they are then allowed to play in the arcade.

Personally I think it should be a little higher not lower cause anyone could just post a couple of days and then never post again and just play the arcade games...if you make it 100 or something then it would give them a better chance to get familiar with the board and enjoy it.

I remember before we put this rule in there was a guy that had 0 posts... all he did was play in the arcade. Then he got really pissed off when cash put the rule in place. I don't remember his name... pretty sure it started with a J.
