Infractions don't matter.
Infractions don't really mean anything they are just a slap on the wrist.. And bannings are just way to harsh..
So from now on ANY TIME either of the Mods issue an infraction to someone I will also administer a FINE which will be a points deduction.
The fine will vary depending on what it is you have done, your general attitude on the board, how rich you are, etc.
But as always.. Insulting, Trolling, Or Flaming a Mod or Admin is going to result in a SEVERE point reduction.
Do the crime pay the fine..

Fair enough...
I don't think this will be a problem for veteran members, but for newer members who don't have many points...when they run out, does that mean they get banned?

This is a really good idea. With the few amount of active members on this board(compared to others with 100's-1000's) and the fact members need to do things for the sim league even doing a short 4 day ban for something would hurt and obviously infractions don't matter. I like the ruling Cash, although I am also curious if someone runs out of points.

Sounds fair to me. As Short mentioned I think this will help some of the newer people on the boards understand what exactly is and isn't allowed incase they don't read the rules for whatever reason.

Obviously if getting points taken away doesn;t send the message loud and clear enough and it keeps happening, then that member just needs to be banned anyway.

Yeah I get that...I'm more referring to the guys that just joined and maybe haven't completely learned the ropes yet. Like - and I'm just using this as a random hypothetical example - say msubobcats87, the guy who just started the Niners Wii franchise, mouths off to Tigam for some reason. He's only got 7 points. What would happen then?

I got dinged 10k, and had 17k. So it's a tax the rich type thing, but I doubt that Cash is going to cripple someone unless they just keep being an idiot repeatedly. Speaking of which, if anyone needs some signatures, I'd sure love to rebuild my buffer :-D

I really don't understand why you as a normal member need to know that? I am the only one that will be giving out fines and I will be giving them out on a case per case basis.
