A brown haired 6’1 feet tall man enters the press conference room. He looks around, smiles to the media folks and directly heads towards the podium.
Mr. Billster: “hello everybody. Nice that you all found this place. Isn’t life really beautiful…. (He looks around for a while and seems to be very happy)…. Let me introduce me, my name is Hunter Marlon Omar Billster. I am a business man from Buffalo, NY. I think I have to be more precise now, I was born in Buffalo, but after my parents passed away as I was 7 years I had to go to Frankfurt in Germany where I spent the next years of my life in the care of my grandparents. These very long and nice years in Germany are the reason why my English isn’t perfect. I mean if you spent more than 20 years in another place and get used to speak German than it is kind of normal that you have your problems with the English language. But I will work on my weaknesses and hope that they aren’t so big to cause you to have pain in your brains and ears when listening to me.
Well, after I went to University I decided to come back to the US and see what is going on here. I really missed this place somehow. Then something curious happened. As I was in Buffalo to visit some of my relatives some weeks ago I heard that the Bills owner Ralph Wilson thought it is time to step down and let someone else take over the Bills to lead them into a bright future. I couldn’t believe it first and thought that this has to be a joke, but my advisors told me that this is serious.
You have to know that I am a big Soccer fan and my favourite team in Germany is Werder Bremen, a very successful poor mans club. And of course I am a big Buffalo Bills fan too. Unfortunately in the German Soccer league you can’t ‘own’ team like in the US, they don’t have this Franchise system for sports clubs. So I said to me this is the opportunity for you. If you can’t own a German soccer club and Ralph Wilson is about to step down as an owner and you are a Bills fan go ahead and make a bid for this team. Yes, that is how it started.
I went with my advisors to Ralph Wilson and offered him 300 millions for the Buffalo Bills Franchise. He looked at me and said that money isn’t everything and I should tell him about my plans with the Bills. I looked at the paper of the roster in my hands and looked outside the window to see the Field of Ralph Wilson Stadium and told him: “Ralph, Buffalo will have a championship team within the next 6 years… And it won’t be the Buffalo Sabres”.
He looked at me a while and then smiled saying nothing. A few days later he agreed to my offer.
Now I am here in charge. I have a mission to get completed, I gave my word. This City will have a champion. It is time to change destiny. It is time to start a saga. Time to open new pages in the book of this city, this team. It is time to change the fate of this unlucky team. Yes, that us my mission. That is the reason why I am here and took over this team. I will try everything that is possible to make this a winning team. The time where the Buffalo Bills where a non factor in free agency is over. The time when the Bills lost their best players to free agency is over. We have money now and we will spend it.
If you have any questions about me or my future plans with this team you can ask now, I will later address to some of the off-season moves we already did so far. Thank you”.

I have nothing but good memories of playing for the Bills. It's something I cherish. When I was playing for the Pats, I'd wear a Bills T-shirt under my uniform. Someone came up to me one day and said, 'Fred, no matter what you wear on the outside, you,ll always be a Buffalo Bill on the inside.'
What are some of your goals specifically for this season, and how do you plan to further improve the team in the following offseason? Do you envision JP Losman as your franchise QB or are you just using him until something better comes along?

Mr.Billster:"Well, our goals in long term are to build a championship team here in Buffalo and to make our great fan base happy and proud of us. And in short term it is to add some young and veteran quality to the roster to make as at least a contender for the playoff race, even if it is only the wildcard spot. And when I look around and see what we got so far I can say that it looks really good. As I took over this team as an owner there were lot of problem areas like DL, OL and the No.2 WR, but not we have a balanced team with young talent and veteran leadership on both sides of the ball.
As far for the question what we might do for the next seasons to make this team better I can say, of course this is only the start, but even with knowing that I can tell you already that we won’t change very much on the roster in the upcoming years, maybe just add 2 or 3 more quality players via free agency. The only positions we are still looking for upgrades in the OL and DL. And all other players to complete the roster should come by the draft. All in all, this team looks ready to be successful right from the start and game experience should make this team only better. For this season we will try to get 8 or 9 wins, which looks to be really possible with our roster.
And about Losman I can say that we are happy with him. He is a young QB with a great arm and quick feet. He yet lacks the experience of leading the Offense for some years, but that will come by time. We have full faith in him and his qualities and he will be our starter for the next 2 seasons for sure. If he plays up to our expectations we don’t see any reason not to make him the leader of our Offense for many, many years."

How do you think signing Koren Robinson has, and will effect your team, on and off the field?
"The signing of a stud WR like Koren Robinson had a fundamental importance for our Offense amd the devlopment of our young QB J.P.Losman. Before we signed him in free agency we only have one legit go-to-guy in the receiving corps, now we have two. I am very sure that he will be very important for our passing game. He brings great skills and is a dangerous receiver for every team and their No.2 CB facing him. Evans-Robinson gives us a great two-punch WR set ready to make the job of our QB easier. I am sure he we will have a nice time together here and are happy to have signed him to a 3-year deal.
His signing will also be good for young speedster Roscoe Parrish. He will be a good receiver in this league in some years, but to throw him into the fire right now would burn him, he needs the time to develop into a solid No.3 WR and maybe later into a solid No.2 WR for this team and now has the time he needs to get better slowly with Evans and Robinson leading our receiving corps".

What do you think are your top 2 position battles and who do you see winning each?
"The top 2 position battles?? I had no opportunity to spend any thought about possible position battles yet, but if you ask me I think we have two of them in the Defense. No.1 is the battle of our DTs Larry Tripplett and Chris Hoke. Each of them has his good and bad sides and we will know more about the DT to play along next to DT Kris Jenkins after the pre-season games. Chris Hoke is a strong man, but is not very agile and lacks mobility on the field and Larry Tripplett is a DT with nice acceleration but is missing the strength to be a penetrating DL player.
The second battle for the starter job could be for the LE spot where Renaldo Wynn and John McCargo are playing. McCargo might win this battle with his superb acceleration and the advantage to be a rookie with huge upside, but like in the DT battle, we will know more after the pre-season games.
For example there is no position battle between CB Drayton Florence and Ashton Youboty, at least not yet. Drayton is a much better Corner than Asthon right now, but for the next 2 years I am sure both will have to enter a huge battle for the No.2 CB spot behind undisputed starter Terrence McGee.
And in the OL we might have position battles for the next years with the addition of LT Freitas and RG Pettitti, but for this year they are cleary only backups.”

Where do you see yourself placing in the division and conference?
"With the Patriots in our division I can’t see us as a better team right now. Maybe next season or in 2 seasons we will be able to reach out for the AFC East crown, but this year we won’t. We will be very pleased with finishing our division as the No.2 team.
The AFC is really a strong conference with lot of potential playoffs teams. For this year I don’t see us in the playoffs, not even getting the wildcard playoff berth. We simply have not an easy enough schedule to make the playoffs with the roster we have. This isn’t meaning we are good, no we have great qualities to offer, but yet our team lacks the experience in some certain positions like QB and Secondary to make us a real playoff contender. We want to get 8 wins for the experience and add 2 more stud players for the OL next year to make us a true playoff bound team. Hopefully our plans work out the way we want".

I believe we have a great set of rookies to start and play for our team this season.
We think that our 1 rounders hard-hitting and speedy SS Donte Whitner and strong LE John McCargo will be very successful in this league with their tremendous talent and skills. We expect them to be cornerstones of our Defense your years to come. Both might have a rough rookie year, but still they will learn enough to be much better players for the upcoming seasons. They will show nice progression of personal development over the first 3 years in the NFL.
3rd round CB Ashton Youboty has great upside and if we have the patience with him and let him develop slowly he can get a solid starting calibre No.2 CB. This season he will be the Nickel Corner most of the times, but I am sure he will be very important for our team in the future.
4th round WR Cory Rogers was somewhat of a pleasant surprise from the FA market, where we found him and signed him to a 2 year deal. He has adequate speed and hands to serve as a slot and possession receiver and is another nice option for the returning game. I am still surprised that he was a FA.
Our 4th round FS Ko Simpson and 5th round Brandon Johnson which we traded for out of Arizona have both starter material and will be starters for this team in the future giving us talented players for both spots in the backhand.
5th round TEs Quinn Synpewksi and Charles Davis are very talented players at their positions and will battle for the No.1 TE spot throughout their careers with each other and it will be interesting to see who will win in the long-run.
6th round LB Jeremy Mincey is a former DE at his college and will moved back to his natural position where he should be a great fit and backup to RE Steve Foley.
All in all I think our rookies are really good and most of them will be starter for our team in the future.
