Thank you ladies and gentleman for coming out today. I apologize for not being able to respond in a more timely manner, however, there was pressing buisness to be attended to. I would like to say that overall I believe we had a very productive offseson. I was highly criticized for moving Chad Johnson. However, it is my belief that movie 85 was in the best interest of the team. We are solid overall however we are still missing a key piece or two, which we will be able to gain in the following year.
As for the game. I thought it was a solid showing for our first game of the year. We have a lot of new players and a lot of old players playing new positions. Therefore, it will take a little while for our team to gel as a whole.
The offense seemed to have the right idea. We rested Rudi because of the past couple years he has amassed a lot of carries which can break a back down over time. So we know he appreciates every rest that we can give him. Carson picked up where he left off throwing for 2 tds.
We do need to button up the defense a little, but that is where most of our personell changes took place, so we understand that they may need the pre-season to adjust. They will however, be ready by the regular season.
do you feel there need to be any additional changes to the roster to get "that key piece or 2" or is this group set for now? are the key pieces you mentioned on defense or offense?
With your starters in you only gained 2 yards rushing in the first half. How do you feel about this?
I feel like it was the first 5 carries of the season. There's not a whole lot to worry about in my opinion. It doesn't matter if you're number one on the DC for any team or number 3, those first few plays you're gonna be jittery, miss a few assignments and have a little rust.

I believe we are lacking that superstar defensive player in our front 7. While we have solid, blue collar guys, I don't believe we have that game changer up there. I've put a sort of challenge out to those guys to see if we have someone on this roster who wants that roll. However, if that no one steps up we will be looking to use those draft picks to add someone of that caliber to our team.
Well how do you feel about your opposition scoring the majority of there points on the ground? And what improvements do you have to decrease the chances of that happening again

Palmer appeared to have a decent game while your 2nd and 3rd quarterbacks struggled.
Did both your 2nd and 3rd stingers truly have injuries warranting them coming out of the game or were they just struggling so much that you felt you needed to put Palmer back out there in the 4th quarter?
