I think the twins will hold on in the AL and I'm praying the phillies can snatch that game from those dang soft padres on the NL front.
Well, I was really hoping that the Braves could work some magic and sneak up in there, but since that ain't gonna happen....I could really care less who gets the wild card or who even goes to the playoffs for that matter.
In all honesty though, I'd really like to see the Tigers take it.....they are the 1991 Braves all over again..and that's always a good thing!
As sorry as it may seem....with FIVE ex Braves, I am starting to like the Dodgers alot. They have a good team with the addition of Nomar this year and Julio Lugo and the rookie Andre Either....
I'd like to see Philly take the NL WC, being that they are the home team around here and since ATL ain't gonna make it. In the AL, I think Minnesota will catch Detroit and win the AL Central. As for the WC, CHW or DET both could win it, I could care less. I think both of them will lose in the first round either way.

well, the phillies are battling the dodgers now for that spot. what its going to come down to is the arizona diamondbacks. dodgers and padres play like 3 or 4 apiece versus the snakes in the last week or two. so go Dbacks.
i'm looking at mets vs. twins. but hoping for phillies vs. tigers.

Nah, I really don't think they'll get their. Pedro hasn't been the same since his "injuries", and other then him and Glavine (Who can be shaky at times) their starting pitching isn't all that great. Don't get me wrong, a great offense.. but great pitching shuts down great offenses. And I think the Cards have the staff to do it. As for the Phils, the only way they are going to make it is if they get on a roll, which is why I said that if they do make it they will roll into the World Series..
