Man, even though I don't play this online, I just play it to sim all the years. I am so freaking addicted to this right now.
Currently I am in 1953. I started as the Boston Doves in 1910. It's 1953 and I just moved to Milwaukee. The Aaron ERA has begun...although I am him in AA so I can progress him a little.
This is so addicting. I got it because I was going to get into someone league, but then I couldn't...maybe cause I didn't buy the software....I don't know. They also have a football mogul you can get....here is the website....
I have 2006 and with that, you can start with any team from 1901 and on...real players names and the real players are in the draft! I'm not trying to advertise, but this is so addicting!
I played Baseball Mogul 2005 version, and was very addicted to it as well.. I got last years free download and was able to control every year, haven't been able to find this year modul for free download where you can control every year yet though.
I tried the Football Mogul one, but for some reason every team lost money every week (around 3 or 4M) except Detroit and another team who made like (38M). It didn't make much sense to me and I didn't have the patience to figure it out so I stopped...maybe I'll try the Baseball Mogul one of these days.

yeah i downloaded the 2006 thing and it offers so many options such as like starting in 1991 and seeing all the historical rookies and seeing all the young superstars. such as a 28 year old roger clemens. great fun just simming and seeing how your team does.
Wow..can someone please tell me where I can find the FULL 2006 one, such as Swoosh has said, or Tri for that matter.. I really would like to start playing it agian.. But can't find it unless you want to pay for it..
I got it started in 1998 as my home town Diamondbacks. In 1998 I finished 4 games above .500 and in 1999 I won the World Series with possibly the best line-up ever. I still got Pujols in the minors too....

Greg Maddux - 19 Years Old - Rookie 95/97
Ben McDonald - 18 Years Old - Rookie 70/78
Dennis Eckersley - 31 Years Old - 13th Season 91/91
My bench consists of:
Darryl Strawberry, Albert Belle, Mickey Tettleton, Mark McGuire, Dale Murphy, Vince Coleman, Otis Nixon, Will Clark, Edgar MArtinez, Rickey Henderson, David Justice, Jose Canseco, Matt Williams, Mo Vaughn, Vinny Castilla(Normally my starting 2B), Hal Morris, Robby Thompson, Vlad Patino, Don Mattingly, Howard Johnson, Sid Bream, Danny TArtabull, Bip Roberts, and some more...all these guys are on my AAA, AA, A, and R minor league teams.
Some of my other pitchers....
Tim Worrell, Steve Sparks, Scott Kamieniecki, Adam Peterson, Steve Bedrosian, Orlando Hernandez, Bobby Witt, Dennis Rasmussen, Rick Camp, Bobby Thigpen, Mel Stottlemyre, Juan Agosto, Tim Wakefield, Cal Eldred...adn some others.
I started this in 1976 and Dale Murphy was a rookie. I pretty much got rid of all my old guys, and went really young. That's why I have all those people as rookies. Players like Gant and Cabrera get really good is you play them. Lofton always hits like .350 and up if you play him alot. Everytime I've had Mark McGuire, he never really does anything. I keep in the minors for a few years to progress, but he always sucks. Everytime I trade Strawberry, he'll end up being the MVP, but he does nothing for me.
