The solution to the Steroid Problem.

There is a solution to the problem of steroids or any other performance enhancing drug in sports. It's actually a simple solution. You see without performance enhancing drugs in sports performances would not be spectacular and without spectacular performances sports will get boring.

It hasn't always been that way. There was a time when everyone played natrually. Yeah, go watch those times.. it was the 1960's and before.. watch the athletes. Watch the classics. And then realise that those goes would be killed in todays world of sports.

The truth is that 90% (or more) of athletes are using something. They are using some sort of enhancement 'drug' that the normal joe does not use. And the sports won't start testing for something until they have come up with something else that can't be detected by those tests. Sure the NFL tests for roids.. but that's only because the players can do HGH and not pop on the tests.

So what is the solution? It's simple. Legalize the Drugs. I mean why is it that a drug like steroids is illegal, meaning I can't even get a subscription for it from a doctor unless he is a shady character, when it's something that is found naturally in our bodies only at a lower level. Everyone has testosterone, we just all have different levels. Increasing testosterone has some side effects (Like balding heads, facial hair, and testicular atrophy (temporary) ) but it has a lot of benefits as well. Increased healing being the main benefit.

If they made the drugs legal and made it so that the league madated the doctors and gave the drugs to the players in an amount that was acceptable to the player and the players body then whats the problem? They would then do testing to make sure the player is not getting a little extra on the side and going over the allowed (and safe) amount. It would be something that you would have to see a physician to get, and you would have to be at an age where you are done growing (21ish).

Now as obsurd as my solution sounds, is it really? I mean you can buy enough cigerrettes to kill yourself smoking them. You can buy enough alchohol few a few dollars to go home and drink it and kill yourself with alcohol poisoning. And those DRUGS are harmful to your body even in low doses. Performance enhancing drugs can be beneficial in low doses, in fact HG can prolong your life and keep your body looking and feeling young for a long time. It is the loss of HGH that makes us grow old and die. Whoever programmed us determined our lifespan by programming the HGH to drop off at a certain age.

Why is it that a drug that benefits us is illegal and can go to prison just for owning enough of it for yourself to do one cycle, but you can have a basement full of cancer causing ciggerettes and cell destroying alcohol?

Because it's what is accepted. People just follow what they are told like cattle. You are raised to beleive something and it is drilled into your head so you follow it just like you are told, and only because you are told.

Ok.. I'm done ranting.
