You know how many rumors have swirled around this offseason, about them 4 players? I highly doubt that THAT 4 team trade will go through.

HAHAHAHA...I wish!!! But Tampa Bay ain't got enough money for those players, and the players they have. Those two would be the only two players on the team, but I like your thinking & creativity!
It would be so funny if Tampa did get them. They have some good young talent, and if they somehow miraculously landed two guys like that they would have a much much better team. Just hope the young players would take after Miguels approach to the game more than Mannys pouting of only playing 5 times a week though

Mets get- Manny Ramirez
Boston gets- Miguel Tejada
Baltimore gets- Kris Benson

I like this deal for all teams.
That's a trade made in heaven. The mets need an another outfielder and to get rid of the common underachieving Mets pitcher with Benson. Boston is hurting with the loss of Damon, Tejada could at least fill his hitting void. And Baltimore...Well they'll figure out ways to destroy both of those pitchers, but they still need to try.
If Boston trades Manny it will affect big papi's number's. The fact of the matter is that you have to pick who you want to pitch 2 when it comes to those guys. If manny's gone they won't have to pitch to Big Papi and his numbers will sink fast.
Not to mention that they've lost Damon and Renteria at the top..so more then likely less people will be on base in front of Big Papi or Manny...bases could be cleared a lot more this season when they step up to the plate..
