Wooohooo, the fighting Buck Showalters! Hahaha. They won't contend. It's not even the All-Star break. Trust me, they're too young of a team. They'll fall apart late in the year or maybe even sooner and lose the playoff bid. Just watch, in a few months we'll be like "Italian called it, what a great, muscular, amazing young man!"

It will be hard for them to contend late, but you never know, they just might be there. Its nice to see that Soriano is playing hard, it would be kinda cool to see the Rangers go from last to first in one season, well I think the finished in last place last season

I think A-Rod is cursed. He left Seattle, and the teams wins the most games in MLB history, although they got bounced in the playoffs. Then he leaves Texas, and they are currently in first place, go figure.

That streak might come to an end this year though. I don't think there is anyway the Yankees can miss the Playoffs

yeah but if you think about it they should be undefeated, great hitters and pitchers but with giambi sucking, a-rod is 3-35 with runners in scoring posistion and 2 outs, you never know, kevin brown also is performing. they are the yankees but idk if they have what it takes to win the world series

Oh you know it. I'll stand by it. The Tigers are doing well... does that mean they're a good team? Nah. All I have to say is... **** happens. With injuries, trades, all that good stuff, you never know how stuff will turn out. I just don't think the Rangers will be in the playoffs come late September.

Is it because of the Rangers pitching ItalianStallion? Because it has exceeded all expectations so far. I just think towards the end of the seaon they will fall out of the race.

That and the fact that they're just so young. Buck Showalter's their manager too, and nothing against him, but he's no seasoned veteran at managing. He's been behind a desk at SportsCenter, so I just don't think they've got what it takes.

Well hopefully they will continue to play well, the Rangers I mean, and we will get to see a good playoff race between Tampa Bay, Boston, and the Rangers

Sorry bout that Matt, I didn't mean that he hasn't been around enough, I meant that he hasn't been active in the MLB for a while, so you never know. The big thing was how young they are and the pitching.
