I was always a Curt Schilling fan, but when he moved to the Sox it topped it for me. I'm a big Boston fan. So Schilling is my fav.

Hahaha, I think it's funny... maybe I missed another thread where you did it besides football?? Honestly, if you want to get away with something like that put Deion Sanders.

My favorite player is probably Jim Thome. I used to be a big Indians fan and Jim Thome was a huge part of that ballclub, and I play first base just like he does, so I like Jim Thome.

Edgar Martinez baby, I mean not only is he the greatest dh to ever swing a bat but he's been with the m's for his entire career, you will never see that again in baseball, a player of his caliber staying on the same team. A few years ago he said if they traded him he'd retire, he loves Seattle and Seattle loves him, Pedro Martinez almost got lynched here for throwing at him.

Uh... he was just saying that because the Yankees didn't want him. Everyone will budge for the right price. Sorry for raining on your parade man, but I think the greatest players should be playing in the field too. I'm sure if Edgar wasn't so old he could handle 1st base or something like that.

Edgar wouldn't of gone anywhere, wouldn't of mattered who or how much, he even said you can only spend so much money. It doesn't matter that he doesn't play the field when his sole job is to hit, greatest dh of all time, he'll be the first dh in the hall of fame, just wait.

My favorite player would be either Roger Clemens, or Barry Bonds.

I'm not sure if he wouldn't have gone anywhere, but he is a smart player and I do like him. He probably will end up in the Hall of Fame, and he's got a good chance at a ring with those Mariners.

Yeah man, you gotta love the Rocket, but as for Barry Bonds... eh these people all know my sentiments on him. Ha, you're killing me here man. First the Tar Heels (coach stealers) then AI and now Barry? What's next? Raiders? Ha, I'm just messing with you. Welcome to the board.

Yeah, the Rocket is testing time, I think he is 9 - 0 now. He is a true competitor. I don't really care for Allen Iverson, he is just fun to watch, you gotta admit, his sound bites are like something off the Chappell show. I take it you are a Kansas fan? I don't think the athletic department was going to settle for anyone else. They had their mind set on Roy Williams. I honestly thought he would stay at Kansas. He definetly had no reason to leave. Thanks for the greeting. If it makes you feel better, I noticed you are a chiefs fan in the other post, I love Dante "the x factor" Hall, damn that guy is fast.

Ah, I love Roger. He's part of the reason I'm tearing up the Maddenboard Fantasy Baseball League. Yeah, I bleed the Jayhawk Crimson and Blue. I knew Roy was leaving as soon as he didn't decline the offer right away. I blame the loss in that National Championship solely on UNC for making KU's players think about Roy leaving. Bastards. Roy is just Roy, he does that. Word from the streets said he had a dying relative in North Carolina so he left to spend time with her, but that doesn't make sense to me.

Hey though, it's cool that you like the Human Joystick, he's awesome. I'm ready for them to actually throw him the ball in KC.
