Well, this season is close to opening. Pitchers and catchers report within a month. There have been alot of signings going on, but I know of one that hasn't happened yet....and that is Ben Sheets.
Yankees bought Sabathia and Teixeira and a new stadium. What gives? Baseball needs a salary cap!!!! I hate the freaking yankees!
Smoltz is a traitor. Boston signed him to a one year deal. This was the last move I thought Smoltzy would do. I thought he'd retire after only playing for one team his entire career. I used to have much respect for him, but I just lost it just like I did with Maddux(SD and LAD) and Glavine(NYM).
The Braves tried to get Furcal back, but LAD matched the Braves offer.
Matt Holiday went to the A's for Carlos Gonzalez. Carlos will be a very good sleeper this year, just like Carlos Pena was a few years ago when he hit 40 HR's. Carlos Gozalez will go off at Coors Field!! Holiday won't do crap in Oakland!
Tampa Bay looks to be as sharp as they were last year. Longoria and Crawford are healthy. BJ Upton is more expereinced. One of the top pitching prospects in David Price. James Shields is back and Matt Garza....Edwin Jackson is gone...dang it!
